  1. Exactly. You have to ask yourself it it was totally made up why they didn't bother to make the price more realistic. ie £300m Erm, let's have a think...why would The Sun sensationalise something they probably made up? No, you're probably right. Just saying I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand if you take a look at Ashley's business history. Well, given none of us know how true it is, that's fair enough. But I don't see how the figure the Sun is quoting makes it any more believable than anything else they claim to have the inside track on about us. You seemed to be saying the figure back up there claims somewhat though. In all actuality Ashley is a businessman and if a good offer came in he would sell. At some point he will sell regardless of what figures are banded about, that's no reason for us to worry or feel defensive. There will be other owners and other chairman.

  4. Especially if it isn't true. Not sure any of us can say that for certain...Can we?
  5. Ashers is hardly likely to confirm it is he?
  6. Its means viana is a defensive midfielder. Basically none of you really know and are just quoting bit bits of legalese to look smart.
  7. Yes but what does it all mean in a small bite sized sentence?
  8. Gemmill and his sarnie thread are seething tbh That was one hell of a thread though.
  9. I've only got the Cübik Olympic EP. Which album should I plump for? 808:90 (1989) Ex:EL (1991) with Bjork on it as well. Are the two benchmark albums. http://www.808state.com/ To play with from the site: http://www.tool-shed.com/808state/various/cobrabora.mid http://www.808state.com/sounds/fanmixes/jo...xtended_mix.mp3 There's loads of rare mixes and stuff to stream on the site well worth a visit...especially you 2J before the pills wear off.
  10. What utter horseshit btw. ...and by any stretch of the imagination not a KK deal either. Jimenez/Vetere and the boys are the La Liga analysers.
  11. Where are you? Kurdistan A fine people. What's the local gen on grabbing a few of those Iraqi oilfields?
  12. Aye that goes down so well with the law. I have my own moral code. If society is at odds with that, then so be it. Well you're clearly not applying it, unless they let you install your own kitchen in HMP Belmarsh these days (which maybe they do in fairness). What surface?
  13. We all know someone is going to kick the shit out of Barton one of these days.
  14. I'm saying Deridyok and Evans.
  15. I imagined standing around doing nowt (waiting) was part of the lazy doctrine?
  16. Do you think when the NHS was invented and visionaries shone a beam of light across a war torn England they had time to sit in coffee mornings asking people what they thought? No. Do you think an institution created over 60 years ago shouldn't move with the times just because the principles it was founded on were virtuous? Move with the times? Society is going backwards. I think it's trying to go in two directions at once, neither being particularly effective, and that results in many things going backwards, NHS, average house size, freedom to travel sooner or later. Scotland should worry when it become independent, there's going to be a lot of English asylum seekers heading there. Access to many guarantees and basics (housing/culture/libraries/food prices/energy) is under much more pressure now than say 20 years ago...There is reams of data out there. If you throw in disenchantment about representation and a failing education system and the growing monopolies in the media, the gap for me between the have's and the have nots is widening alarmingly. As I said earlier buoying up the NHS is a complex paradigm, but it needs to be done with or without Joe Public.
