  1. Appearently we're going upmarket and preparing a 25million bid for David Villa. Now that would be great if it came off. Your lot are so broke you want 20mil for Crouch and tried to barter some nobodies to us for Milner and Finnan and some others for Barry, but you've got 25mil to bid for David Villa? 18mil out for Barry - 10mil in for Crouch...you're still down 8mil. Where's this money going to come from? How do you know all that is true? I doubt we were even seriously in for Milner at all, Pennant is better imo. Insua being one of the possible youngsters offered shows how wrong the speculation was, he's a great little player and far too good to let go. With sales and the 20 million budget given by the owners Rafa could have around 50 million to spend. I don't think he'll go for Villa but it's not an impossibility. Benitez on Crouch: Also, a few people in the press were talking about £7million – so then I talked about £15million because I wanted to protect the club. This will be Benny's last season at Anfield.
  2. Benefit fraud I'd assume. He lives in Switzerland.
  3. I think he's too rich to work...Schweiss and all that.

  6. exactly. There's fuck all wrong with having at least 6 or 7 usernames. It's pathetic and sad. I have a few ideas of people having a few different usernames on here. Danny B is one of the mods surely?
  7. Not too bothered about particular players at the moment, still pretty confident another 4/5 good players will come in.
  8. For me top 10 is the bear minimum. I'll be calling for Ashley's head if we finish out the top 10.
  9. I'd have shot him for that alone, to be fair. I'm having trouble countering that.
  10. I suppose not being shot is the litmus test these days, how sad. He matched the description of an armed criminal, it would have been a disgrace if he hadn't been stopped. A black man wearing a black t-shirt with orange writing. Strange 300 odd people weren't jumped at Liverpool street.
  11. I blame the Muslims. I blame you. I blame the Krauts. I blame the Jews. I blame the Admins. Easy targets tbf.

  16. George Bush has broken off a high level debate at G8 to address the accelerating crisis between Fish and Sammy. Australian president has called Mr Brown this morning and it transpires has threatened to withdraw diplomatic services.
  17. News UK news 10.30am BST Commuter mistakenly arrested by armed police was 'shocked and scared' Paul Lewis guardian.co.uk, Wednesday July 9, 2008 Article history Nzube Udezue is confronted by armed police at Bournemouth train station. Photograph: Bournemouth News An innocent commuter who was detained by police at gunpoint in a shocking case of mistaken identity has described how he "stepped off the train and into a really bad dream". Nzube Udezue, a 21-year-old recent graduate from Oxford University, was ordered to the ground, handcuffed and arrested by a team of armed police officers at Bournemouth station on Saturday, in front of dozens of fellow travellers. A spokesman for Dorset police insisted last night that the man they had mistakenly detained had nothing more to say on the matter. But writing on his blog, Udezue, a computer science student known to friends by his rap name, Zuby, painted a very different picture. Udezue said officers explained that – as a black man wearing a black T-shirt with orange writing - he matched the description of a man involved in a suspected firearms incident, which took place in another part of the country, earlier in the day. "When I woke up this Saturday morning, I could happily say that I'd managed to get through (almost) 22 years of my life without any real incident with the police. I could also say that I'd never had a gun pointed at me," he said. "Little did I know that by 6.10pm. I'd be lying face down on the ground, handcuffed, with several submachine guns pointed at me and the entire county's specialist police firearms unit on me." The former student, whose social networking page was today filled with messages of support, said the ordeal had left him feeling "shocked, confused, scared and embarrassed all at the same time". A dramatic image of the moment he was ordered to the ground was released yesterday, prompting comparisons with the case of Jean Charles de Menezes, the Brazilian man mistakenly shot dead by police after the failed July 21 bomb attacks. But Udezue's identity had previously not been known." I think in the aftermath the police have acted courteously. But when reading these things and with the shooting of the Brazilian electrician I can' help but wonder how amateurish these highly armed police are and what if this geezer had panicked, confused and dazed as he was in the first 30 seconds.
  18. Scoring goals to me has been a major problem for quite a few seasons now, really up until we changed formation at the end of last season. Yeah that too, but I have a feeling the continued influence of KK will continue to remedy that - he tends to instill a good first instinct in players. Seems like a little thing, but under KK the first touch of players (moving forward) has been better and with more purpose.
  19. Liverpool have been the weak link in the top 4 for 2/3 seasons, but I think that window has closed now. Next season should be about become more consistent and letting in less goals - my target would be top 7, but higher if we actually spend some decent wedge over the next few weeks.
  20. Zenit has turned down Barca's offer of £12m and they've refused to offer any more rather than him turning them down. I realise that, but if it was his dream to play for them he could ask Zenit to accept or make noises about wanting to leave or whatever. So why did you say he had turned them down when he clearly hasn't? Don't worry about it. This Fopitis seems to be contagious. Behave.
  21. Darnell is beginning to play his bigger cards.
  22. No. But it was funny reading Sammy rabbit punch you from post to post.
  23. Tough one, I can see both sides of the argument. Lets get one thing straight, I despise the cunt. I will be glad when he has left these shores because he is a despicable cunt. A lad I know gave him a dig in a hotel bar because he was giving it large about Spurs, he hates us big time. I would like to say he is a talentless fat shit who can only operate in a five man mid, hanging around the edge of the box, waiting for the ball to rebound out to him, only to score another flukey deflected goal. i know that's not really the case. He is a very good player, he plays to his strengths and if anything he may be more suited to the continental game. Is he in Ronaldos class? No. Will Chelsea have trouble replacing him? No, they have Michael Ballack and a Gazillian pounds to spend. Doesn't mean he is a bad player. He is however, undoubtedly a total utter cunt rag. I'd like to add Deco is another class compared to Fats.
