Old bored or new bored? -
Summer transfer window related. Clearly most like to think the day the window closes, but it never turns out like that...I think beer can will start flying mid next week if there is still no movement.

They'll be buying two or three more players, it was widely reported he had 40m to spend.

Bungled as in not being held to ransom you mean? You don't deal for 3 months (reportedly) to people who are 'holding you to ransom' allegedly. Get out of that fishface. Haven't they (reportedly) upped the price? To clarify, if they have upped the price (reportedly) we should have known the nature of the beast a lot earlier if (allegedly) it kicked off 3 months ago. It's all I'm saying. We should have known they'd hold us to ransom before it happened? Ok, so presumably negotiations should never have commenced then? Or something. I can't believe we've been in continuous negotiations on this for 3 months btw. No, I agree to a point. It's one of those it looks like the agent is driving it which puts the selling club on the defensive. -
Aye, he's a top lad. He's a lot 'funnier' than Torres anyway.

Old enough to know that no matter what you spend or who you buy ... you'll still do fuck all! ... that could make me any age! Like my avatar? To be honest if a 13 yo Swiss boy came up to me on the street and tried to talk football to me, I would politely listen (ignore) him, make my excuses and leave abruptly. Welcome back to the ignore list. Agreed. I'd do the same to you down the boozer. That would be your loss. Although I get the feeling that me and you would inhabit different types of establishment. Well, I don't need to pay for it. Down my way, thats not called a boozer. However I have been on a few night out on the Toon and I can see how we could have got our wires crossed. It was a play on the word establishment. Do keep up old boy. Really? I find explaining a joke afterwards adds to the off beat hilarity of the situation. Thanks. Is this the banter down the pub I'm missing out on then? Danny B is alright, we're all a bit uptight cause we ain't got players in innit?

I reckon we've bungled this deal. -

We shuld bid for him as well. If Depor want to fuck we should teach them a lesson. (we still owe them for Luque anyway). I would have cancelled them payments long ago. -

Torres is basically saying if Liv stopped doing as well as he'd like he would withdraw his 'support'.

That depends on too many factors ... at liverpool you need a starting 16. Last time I checked it was 11 players who started a game. So, would you have £19m Robbie Keane in your starting XI? Not at the moment, no. I like the system we use (4-2-3-1) and Torres is the 1. I do see him having a great impact though. So you've spent £19m+ on a squad player? I don't see how you can be happy about that. Why not? ... if he forces himself to become more prominent then great! Let's see what Rafa the great has planned for him. Benitez will play him most of the time. Stop talking shite man. The only way he'll become a squad player is by losing form and his place. You seem to have a real problem with opinions that differ to yours!? ... If he loses his place of course he's a squad player .. did you found MENSA? I don't have a problem with them at all. You obviously know that Benitez will consider Keane - a 28 year old player with a wealth of PL experience he's just paid £20m for (or near enough) - a starting XI player rather than a squad player. You won't admit it though because you called him a squad player as an attempted dig at DannyB and now look daft seeing as your club's just forked out a fortune for him. If Rafa sticks to 4-2-3-1, Keane won't be the striker. I also did say that it would depend on many factors such as the competition, opposition, etc ... yet you chose to ignore that. We have more than 11 players that could be considered first 11. What's going to happen to Kujit?
-
You have no clue at all. Are you Fop? Rafa has bought the wrong striker if he is to be 'in the hole' for Torres (it will be his come down season btw, PL sides are ready to cut loose on his arse). How many seasons have you been saying that for now btw? Torres not Raffer. I suspect he'll do ok like. I have a feeling after the Euro's and all that hair tousling some PL defenders are ready to cut him in half in the first 5 min. Just a thought.

It was a silly dig and he is clearly a starter. The wrong starter - for that money and a little more, I'm sure Berbs was on.

Rafa has purchased completely the wrong striker for his 5-4-1. You see to the untrained eye Keane does look like a deep lying, rotating, feeding, hysterical clown. Ramos 1 - 0 Rafa.

seeing as we sold one today.....the same as yesterday. How many is that tho?...Interested.

Trust me if you watched Lennon week in week out you would say he is needed. One striker, one DM, one CB and were done. What could possibly go wrong?
