  1. The admin on here are a fucking disgrace tbh. Agreed.
  2. That's 5 Barton threads now.
  3. I like how Spurs fans generally think that constant twattish showers of condescension is 'banter'. All the bloody same. Stop trying to arse lick the locals. Its just banter, its part of the game, get a grip. Knowing that young man like I do I can say he's far from being an arse licker. His lass tells me he refuses to give her a rim job despite her begging for it. He looks about 12 in his pic. Your words hurt. Oh well, it's only banter, innit geez'.

  5. Quite right it will be tommorrow.
  6. I can never be wrong with this as it will always be 'tomorrow'.
  7. Old enough to know that no matter what you spend or who you buy ... you'll still do fuck all! ... that could make me any age! Like my avatar? To be honest if a 13 yo Swiss boy came up to me on the street and tried to talk football to me, I would politely listen (ignore) him, make my excuses and leave abruptly. Welcome back to the ignore list. Agreed. I'd do the same to you down the boozer. That would be your loss. Although I get the feeling that me and you would inhabit different types of establishment. I'd say you hang around train stations and playgrounds by the sounds of things. Yeee haaaaa U-S-A, U-S-A, GET IN THE HOLE!!! Like my avatar then? Fooseball? was Fooseball bwoy? We call it soorrcceer. Beckenham is our top player he has been drafted to the LA white skins, who play in Louisiana. He can do a ninety degree shifter into the right angle from the 40 yard line. YEAH!!!
  8. I've been doing that for weeks now....Err I think it's backfired though.
  9. It's not just that, but key injuries can really screw us. Keegan's 3 pronged attack formation worked quite well last season, but outside of that formation we seemed really iffy. The problem is we're not looking much stronger at the moment, as I'm not convinced we've even papered over the cracks yet, never mind filled them. I imagined (and god forgive me) that the 2/3 marque deals would have been in place before the window even opened..Clearly not the case it seems. Yeah, I was hoping for that too. What I really don't want to go into next season doing is that people like Viduka don't get injured (he clearly will, if he's even back to fitness), or knowing that we can't play more than one specific formation without ending up playing hoofball as there's no midfield glue (or often attacking quality/supply). It's not just about inj and whatnot...It's about signals. It's saying to other prospective players/partners/branding possibilities...Look! This is a calling card of our intentions. Even ONE big name can change the feel of a club/dressing room, fan expectations.

  11. I agree. People are desperate for overnight solutions though. Despite them not having worked in the past. Whoa there Neddy, Ashley's done an okay job of sorting said finances out, but what's the point if you're unable to compete at the end of the table where you actually make money? We could at least have bulked up the squad a bit even if it wasn't with top star players. I never expected us to get enough top players in to challenge the top four but there's plenty of good squad players out there we could have brought in by now. I've said before that you don't make money without spending it and that part of football is no different to any other business. And for the record I'm pretty sure transfers can't be that bloody difficult to sort, unless you're a penny pinching, tight-arsed fat southern miser. Short sighted Im afraid. You are going to have to consolidate before moving forward. Fuck off, there's no short-sightedness there at all. Without an adequate squad you can't compete to a reasonable standard to improve your situation in the future. We've lost players from an already thin squad and struggled to replace them, at best we'll be in the same position we were last season, except all the teams around us will have strengthened further moving us further down the league. If there isn't a quantum change in our transfer business I calculate we are 2 seasons behind Spurs, Villa, Man City and Pompey.

  13. I'm not sure they will get Saha but we will see. I hope they do in a way. Bound to be crocked within weeks. It's a crock guarantee.
  14. I don't think he can do one till next season (read somewhere)...
  15. I agree. People are desperate for overnight solutions though. Despite them not having worked in the past. The biggest expense for any club is wages, until Ashley gets those on silly money either out or down to a sensible rate you wont be adding to the wage bill significantly. Once you are running at a self sustained level and become profitable you can then invest again. Is it not enough that he has paid off your debt? But MA agreed some of those big wages. The sensible thing is to watch the business footprint reg wages etc...But not forget that the bottom line is that we must compete to go forward and develop revenue streams. One can't happen without the other.
  16. Can't say it doesn't make sense though Aye but the trick is to camouflage the crack, like my sneaky posts on N.O. which look plausible but are actually little time bombs. It's important to have a holding positon ie remain a bit sensible, I think you are being hasty too early ant imo.
  17. Aye but i'm right to have cracked No matter who we sign now, we had ample time to scout and try sign people, you should be aiming to have them in for the friendlies and such to get settled not signing when the leagues fcking started... Just stinks of bad planning, it's not like we had a run of bad injuries and need to find a solution quick. Cracked.
  18. But you've already cracked isn't it? Just masking it. Craig cracked weeks ago, but he is a more delayed munitions...Little explosions all over the place.
  19. Old bored or new bored? Both I suppose, mainly new though
  20. Ant for me has already cracked and Armchair Pundit isn't far behind.
