Do yourself a favour and don't buy the NotW the'morra

is the correct answer Don't understand why everybody defends Ashley all the time. Selling the club for that money gets him all his money back, including paying off the ground. He would be a fool to turn it down. Most of the things he has done has suggested he was making the club a saleable item rather than a long term success on the field. We will see, but if I were him, I'd take it. And if the owner is someone like this, and he's geninely interested in the football, then its for the best. For us it should be a no-brainer..... -

Course he's looking at all financial avenues....It's just naive to think he isn't. -

Hooking up with an Indian billionaire with the same kind of money as Roman would be a good thing for us. Think of the shirt sales on the sub-continent!!!!! -

Newcastle is a sleeping giant with a very strong local footprint, it's more or less a monopoly with guraranteed income ratio's. My mate at Coutts values the club at £240m. We are the kind of club with the possibility to add significantly to turnover, correctly handled. The brand has a very strong possibility to grow in the far east. Man U - Global brand Liv - Global brand Arsenal - Euro Brand Chelsea - Becoming a Euro brand, but need to win the CL to take the step up. After that the only other two clubs that are known in Euro are : Spurs Newcastle -
Could play Barton as the DM??

Yeah cause you americans are shit hot on the old finance front. Like giving motgages to people without jobs then selling the debt all round the world to ensure we are all dragged down into recession with you. You have my number, ha ha, do me a favour you're a teenage yank. Ive got you're number: You're a phoney ... long term loans cheaper than short term? You fool. You never even mentioned the credit crunch or market liquidity? ... because like football ... you really know fuck all about it. I've seen right through you ... you've never even had a mortgage, otherwise you wouldn't have posted that crap ... You couldn't even define a recession without google and even then couldn't explain it. Great little feeder bitch though! Now bend over .... A. I can actually, a recession is defined as two month of negative ecenomic growth on the bounce. B. So are you trying to tell me that an interest rate on an overdraft would be less then one on a loan / bond? C. The credit crunch is a relatively new issue and didnt exist before MA took over and paid of Newcastles debt. Mate you are making yourself look a prick, i am afraid its you who hasnt got a clue. I suggest you pay more attention next "semester" because you come across as a real special needs case.

are you black? He's black in the way Sicilians are darker than other Italians wttw.

We're better looking than Swiss cunts and scousers I'll tell you that straight away. Scousers are umpa lumpa types genetically, they're much smaller than we are. This message had been brought to you by StevieLabs Inc.

Upto £8.8m I read somehwere.

I'd agree with that due to the fact we weren't playing a more attacking centre midfielder. Butt/Barton/Geremi are all solid centre mids, who do lots of tracking back. Were we to have an Arshavin type plyer, who likes to dictate play from the final 3rd, in either a 4-4-2 or 4-5-1, I think you'd need a very disciplined holiding player. You are right about it maybe being a fashionable position though. Ath the minute, however, most big teams do play a tough tackling, holding midfielder though. Barca-Toure, Real-Diarra, ManU-Carrick/Hargreaves, 'Pool-Mascherano/Sissoko. The old deep lying playmaker of ancient myth.
-
We need two middle of the park midfielders really, ideally one with high creative, positional and pace components. Also Butt needs replacing, he's getting to the point that his excellent positonal sense can't make up for unwilling legs. The other problem with Butt is that in the modern game the DM needs also be about to initate moves from time to time.

I've been saying that for 3 years now. A lot of people take jibes at that, but a player of that kind will win you games - end of story.
-
I wouldn't say we dominated posession as much as knocking it around in nothing areas without a clue as to what to do with it.
-
Agree we looked very very ordinary.

Don't think so, Zoggy looked bad and indecisive there, Ricky was twice the player at LB when he came on. Ricky is only 22, I think we forget that and this second season we will see more from him I'm sure. The goal was a squawky, flappy missed clearance from Cacapa..Lazy old and crap. He didn't even bother to run back and cover when it looked like the bloke was going round the keeper. Milner: I counted 10 attempted crosses with 0 finding a black and white shirt...Duff came on and straight away looked more dangerous wiht whipped in balls. Duff made one good run which had a hint of the old times about. Gutherie faded badly in the second half. Shit Geremi, Butt, Milner, CACAPA, SHOLA. SMITH. Alright Zoggy, Duff, Gutherie, Taylor. Good Guti, Ricky.
-
Butt just letting people wander past him.
-
Milner 7 cross attempts 0 succesful.
-
I know its early days but half of these look no better than pub players.
-
36min Gutherie 2 raking passes down the right which Milner doesn't do enough with, his lack of pace not helping.
-
30min Smith loses it on the edge of thier box and Guti has to run back to cover the break.
-
Geremi poor at right back so far...Mislaying passes, looks sluggish. 26min They cross from wide right..Cicero has another wallop at it from outside the area.
-
Guti our best player so far, switching around across the forward line. Zoggy showing well. For them Rafael and Cicero looking tricky in a Brazilian kind of way. Guti 21 min pen claim on blocked cross (hand) turned down. RAFAEL GOES CLOSE..Zoggy not seeing the danger. (Miss from 11 yards).
