Ant, you're fucking clueless tbf. Aye your right lets sign the 27 year old and watch the promising u21 Spaniard fuck off back to spain because we've decided lobbing a winger and someone who spent the last 5years in the 1st division on ahead of him is good idea... I think Enrique doesn't get the praise he deserves tbh, bombing forward aside Enrique has gotten on with his job quietly, put some good crosses in and been solid enough for someone who was in a new country, new league and it was his first year and considering the fucking state of our team last season I'm more than happy when he did get on he decided to sit back a bit more and not get caught out. Think he'll go from strength to strength getting consistent games esp if we have someone like Coloccini at the heart of the defense. Agree, Ricky seems to be underrated for some reason.

Can't stand him. Sorry did I mention that?

Less of that. I'm cynically informing you about what is being said. None of this cryptic "tea leaves" shite You're missing the joke fella. It's a 2J parky thang.

21st Century Britain for you. Fuck it who cares, as long as he's good. Stevies social barometer shudders into action.
-
He's been bought in to give Baton a slap. Very specialised role apparently.

Nicko says: Warnock has NOT asked away...but he does fancy Newcastle United. This is becoming a nightmare and explains why there were so many bids for him and all of this chatter. So that wasn't me revving it up after all. QUOTE (SergioPeter89 @ Aug 12 2008, 16:05 ) Didnt nicko warn us about Warnock requesting a transfer, and said that it was only bull****? To clarify...I heard this story yesterday, checked it out and discovered he has NOT put in a request. He still has not. But he DOES want away. Warnock obviously thinks/knows Newcastle United are still in for him and does not want to miss the chance. This is becoming a bit troubling.

Arsenal and Manchester United have joined the battle, and now head the chase, to sign Ghana midfield sensation Anthony Annan, skysports.com understands. The 22-year-old international spent last week training with Blackburn but that has seemingly alerted a host of other clubs to his availability. Rovers were in pole position to strike a deal with his Norwegian club Start, but now they look to have lost their advantage. Arsenal and United have now both made firm enquiries and they will be in attendance when Annan features in the Uefa Cup in Norway on Thursday evening. Annan is playing for Stabaek - the club he is currently on loan at from Start - against Rennes and over a dozen clubs are ready to check on him. AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Racing Santander are also keen to land the Ghana star, but he has his heart set on a move to England and it appears as if he will have a number of options. Arsenal wanted to take the player on trial, but because of his commitments with Stabaek he could not spend more time in England after being with Blackburn.

Does he play left or right back? He could play creative in the middle.

I sometimes add that to my work email signature, just to show the breadth of my skills. I wouldn't put it past you.

James or whatever he's called now?

I have the same feeling as well, if the embellishments are true, then this season is going to be fun. If they're embellishments, they won't be true

Put a donk on it. -
You were senior admin on there though were you not? [stevie/] No. I had a tiny amount of control of one of the writing sections where me and Alex used to piss about with Chez, Kitman and Nicos. EDIT: And GM till I sacked the fat lazy cunt.

Funny thing is some of it rings true. On the other hand the really big name before the end of the season feels like fan driven wishful thinking, hope it's true mind. Was thinking the same. The thing about transfer budget is almost certainly true - have thought that from the off and MA has stated its the case but some still call him tight. Collo isn't quite there but close. We are one marquee player away (sizzling midfielder or forward type) from MA stamping his signature on the club. If I was advising him that would have happened by now. This club has all the assets to be a serious contender.

Cheers . Like a footballing authority has spoken. You have read my articulate footballing theology genious, and the cheers is the like till the next time and I know you're waiting with baited breath at my shear unique insight - that's how HTL's "Cheers" at the end used to come across to me. A kid who had never stepped foot in NE1 4ST, before his 18th birthday. I find the worst type of football fan, are the late developers, people that feel in love with the game at 5, 6, 7, good lads - late developers pipe down. You're mixing him up with HTT. It was HTL who put 'Cheers' a lot. What you mention is what really wound me up about HTT. How could you not like playing football as a kid etc. then consider yourself an expert at (what is he now?) about 13? HTT said cheers too. Obviously picked it up off HTL then, who tbf, does know his stuff. I miss him. To be fair I did get HTL and HTT mixed up I was on about HTT. HTL had a good knowledge it has to be said, but he always came across as an angry version of NE5 to me. Does HTL still get on No-marks Online? HTL has been chased off there. (From a reliable source). Not sure what that means, but that is what I've been told. If by HTL we are talking about the insanely long post wallah. Nar that's HowayTheToon 29 years of age been to 40 toon games in his life, never owned a season ticket, never went to a game before Villa away in 96, yet he used to make his posts, like a managers piece in the programme, "take on board what I've said and lets hear that famous geordie roar come Saturday" signature underneath. HTL - Howay The Lads was late 40's knew his stuff, but he was a Social Club Stan, he used to drink in Blakelaw Social by all accounts. Ok, HTT then who was part owner of N.O.? Something happened (I have no idea what) and he stopped posting, came back under other aliases in fits and starts but was never the same imo. Anyway water under the bridge an all that.

He contends we are over pricing him.
-
Well, hopefully, but I would be happy with just ONE signing! For me the Owen fitness match is a million times more important.

If I was pushed into a corner by big angry lads and had to come up with a name and had 12 pints in me I'd say the 'big name' is Moutinho.
