  1. The only things I miss are the curries. I mean you order a full English and they ask if you want free range eggs. Hold on let me go to my car and get the Uzi.
  2. I was taken aback by the air quality last month when I came over for a week. That and the insane prices for everything. And all the clueless buffoons that wander the streets thinking they've made it.
  3. The Accountant. 8/10 That's a very high rating for Hollywood product. Amusing, great set pieces...Kind of Rain Man meets Jason Bourne.
  4. Plastic bottle hit Neymar and three players go down holding their faces...Saurez one of them obviously.
  5. The Guardian is scared to open comments on a lot of these articles now. (It is open on this one). The comments just end up with a lash at the Guardian editors repeating the same prattle...Putin, Feminism, Calais, some Polish family oop North, Bremoan, Banks moving to Mars, Luvvies for this that and the other, bands no-one has heard of etc...
  6. https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/19128 This one shows a decent level of analysis going on....
  7. Some fascinating reading in there.
  8. The PLP are in crisis with reg to Corbyn as most of them are basically to all intents and purposes Tory lite. It's like they've been parachuted into an ep of Lost and Locke has taken over and somehow the island likes Locke.
  9. That's the key and why the PLP hate him and the elite media attack dogs.
  10. A mass of resignations from the Shadow Cabinet and 75 per cent vote of no confidence have left Mr Corbyn with a minimal following. The rush of new members to the party, however, raises Labour’s total membership to around 450,000 – higher than its last peak of 405,000 during Tony Blair’s leadership in 1997." http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/labour-party-gains-60000-new-members-following-attempted-coup-against-corbyn-a7112336.html Think it's half a million now. Yeah he's obviously a disaster.
  11. All I see all over the place is that the establishment/neo-liberals/austerity crowd/are trying to hang on and their is a huge tide building to break down all their sacred cows. Significant parts of the population in Europe, UK and the U.S. are hitting out blindly across a spectrum of fears. It will get bigger. The more the bogus center try to deny it the stronger it will get. It's not a case that they won't come clean they aren't allowed to change course. Proven failed economic policy is being stuck to because greater powers than 'the people' want it. The people are aware of that now and at every chance they will try and wreak havoc on the current fundamentals.
  12. Oh look the Gurardian trying to spin Merkel's latest disaster. They just won't fukin learn till the whole of Europe is right wing and Hugo Boss are making uniforms again. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/sep/05/angela-merkel-germany-mecklenberg-vorpommern-election-analysis Germany The three-year-old Alternative for Germany, or AfD, won 20.8 per cent of votes in the election for the state legislature in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Merkel's Christian Democrats polled 19 per cent, their worst result yet in the state." http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/alternative-for-germany-second-place-merkel-district-1.3748133 France Le Pen On Sunday, her party took 30% of the overall vote in regional ballots across mainland France, according to projections by pollster IFOP-Fiducial based on a partial count of the vote. That marked a surge from the last comparable elections in 2010, when the party won only 11.4% in the first round." http://www.wsj.com/articles/national-front-leads-in-first-round-of-french-regional-elections-1449434483 From Hungary through Poland in Austria (the far right lost by a whisker) to Germany, France and the UK the right are on the march......
  13. It's partly what Ewerk said earlier and also that the cards are stacked. The media generally go after agencies that don't subscribe to the current blueprint, look at the ceaseless demonisation of Corbyn (especially in the Guardian - meant to be soft left), then there is the money behind the campaigns especially in the U.S. (sweetheart deals and special interests mainly Wall Street and other elites). It's why there is push back against the center in France, Germany, UK and the U.S. It might well be misinformed people who are confused with a cross section of targets for now but over time this movement may change and become more energised as small victories and large victories (Brexit) start to stack up. When people are frightened the run to nationalism and populism (all through European history) but I wouldn't write it off....It's just the beginning. There is a nexus of anti-globalisation and anti- centralization sentiment now in a significant part of the European and U.S. populous. And as you say it has come as a shock to the ruling hegemony.
  14. The claim that this is all just about trying to help people in need should not even pass a laugh test, let alone rational scrutiny. To see how true that is, just look at who some of the biggest donors are. Although it did not give while she was secretary of state, the Saudi regime by itself has donated between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation, with donations coming as late as 2014, as she prepared her presidential run. A group called “Friends of Saudi Arabia,” co-founded “by a Saudi Prince,” gave an additional amount between $1 million and $5 million. The Clinton Foundation says that between $1 million and $5 million was also donated by “the State of Qatar,” the United Arab Emirates, and the government of Brunei. “The State of Kuwait” has donated between $5 million and $10 million." Her foundation is accepting money from the very people who are funding ISIS. These are sick regimes who routinely suppress human rights, women's rights and hang gays. https://theintercept.com/2016/08/25/why-did-the-saudi-regime-and-other-gulf-tyrannies-donate-millions-to-the-clinton-foundation/ http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/21/us/politics/hillary-clinton-presidential-campaign-charity.html?_r=0
  15. Got to admit his Putin manlove is wierd.
  16. Yeah it all goes back to last year when he said that if he met Putin he thought they'd get on. Sent shock waves through the Military Industrial complex who are waiting for their next war...Syria or Iran - both of whom will be helped by Russia.
  17. Yeah she's been using bizarre cold war rhetoric for ages. Everything that goes wrong somehow Russia are behind it.
  18. He might be mad but really she is so full of shit. The 'civil war in Syria aided and abetted by Russia and Iran'. Just took my breath away.
  19. Yup. Love running around the Alster.
  20. Christ! I only have two samosas and normally avocado salad or prawn salad lunch. Only have a proper meal around 7-9. Table Tennis or badminton twice a week and a run with the Mrs on Sat.
