Inler ain't on it. ...post editing mofo! *stays frosty* Indeed.

"So can Hicks and Gillett hang on to Liverpool now they have been forced to shelve plans for the new stadium? There's talk this morning that the latest blow to the credibility of Anfield's odd couple could be the last, with Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed (a man not overly inconvenienced by the credit crunch) ready to personally oversee a renewed bid for the club."

It will go through.

It's art really.

Tick the boxes and give reasons. I have inc all the recent vaguely believable rumours. I think we will sign Silkybread although they say we haven't bid, I think Malouda or Cole are on if Robinho goes through and I think it will.

Fact is though, unless we bring in a few (and/or some loans) an injury streak like Roeder's and we'd be playing with a youth team. Not really sure why people think we won't bring more players in... Hope so, the difference is the usual panic is like everyone running about screaming that their ship may hit an iceburg (might happen, but unlikely). But starting a season with a tiny squad is more like trying to cross the Atlantic with only half the fuel you think you'll need and hoping for favourable weather to get you there (might happen, but also unlikely). Admittedly we don't have the number of games to worry about, but still I think we're about as small a squad as a Premiership team can get away with, and it'll still cost us points over the season. TBH the time to worry will be Tue morning if deals haven't been secured. Then we can talk about how good our youth development policy is going to be Clever.

This by a mile. Woodgate is arguably one of the best centre backs in Europe but his injuries were a pisser, Milner is average as fuck Agreed but at the time didn't we all say that we'd never mug another club as much as we did Real Madrid when we flogged them Woody?? We might yet mug someone with Shooola.

The deal was structured by MVB apparently. Again, if it needed showing what a diamond the man is.

Midfield we do have sorta some numbers ( i guess 5 isnt alot ) but i think mainly its quality. lualua is unproven and lacks experience where n'zogbia has been unconvincing of late. duff has been performing well of late but he is very injury prone. We'll buy a player twice as good with the Milner money. Infact this deal couldn't have come at a better time.

Indeed.

I'm with you now im starting to worry!!! we got 72 hours to get in 4 players now...we have started well this season and i think many of us have high hopes for a good cup run and top 6 finish come the end of the season, i dont think that will happen if this weekend goes pair shaped in the transfer department. Shaped like a pair of what? Shut up im angry typing

Silkybread.
-
Very tasty in a bun with some mustard.
-
Will everybody shut the fuck up about getting players in.
-
Maybe (or maybe not - we see this season I guess). But both are examples of the silliness of Premiership prices recently. I think both are daft money but Keane might turn out to be good enough to do a job in the CL and he's already shown he's a very good PL player imo. He might not be good enough to take Liverpool to that next level, i.e. competing for the PL - I have my doubts tbf. But Milner is average or worse in every department bar his engine. £12m is unbelievable money for a player like that. The permanent 'someone just nicked my wallet' look he has after he's lost the ball for the 10th time is worth £10m alone.

Have to admit, that one got me too. I wasn't thinking about Parky there you know, just to clear that up. I was.
