I agree Chez, KK was a great player for us, among many others, but Kenny was the best of the lot. He was the best all round player we've ever had. What he lacked in pace he made up for in speed of mind. He had superb ball control, could create something out of nothing and his outstanding individual talent was only surpassed by his willingness to be part of the team. It was only one touch from Dalglish but the control was out of this world. The ball comes over the halfway line to Dalglish in the inside right channel, who has his back to goal and is marked. Rush is making a run more centrally. Dalglish basically slices the ball with the outside of his foot sending it behind him with swerve. The swerve was (in my memory) inch perfect to carry it into Rush's path, he takes a touch and buries it. I was only 4 when Keegan left you lot but i still remember it. We will, the deals to try and sell Ameobi and Smith were to reduce the wage bill and raise some revenue. As these deals didnt come off, its my reading of the situation that this deal was accepted to allow for additions.
