  1. Another position weakened if Berbatov goes. Nice one. The haircut spells failure. FACT.
  2. He got the ball man and barely touched the player, if that's what you're on about. The crowd were screaming for him to be booked about a second before he made the tackle. That wasn't anti Barton by the way - To be honest we could have done with him for the 90. Thats the kind of tackle you need in a game like this. ...and that smile.
  3. I thought we'd lose by two or three. Some encouraging spells, Zoggy making some good runs with the ball at his feet and the likes of Shay and Collo kept the score down. Bit unlucky with the early pen as if we could have gone in 0-0 or 1-0 the 2nd half might have been tighter. Nothing to be ashamed of we were bascially played off the park by a top 10 European side. New players will be coming in on Monday and we'll get Owen and Oba to full fiteness in a couple of weeks and there are a lot of winnable games out there for us. Our best today: Collo Worst: No prizes for guessing.
  4. It will be a high scoring game.
  5. That one wasn't so much of a limb as a rather strong branch...given his publicised transfer request, the clubs acceptance of it and Villa's long history of interest. It's all fun mate.
  6. What happened to Keegan's fragile temper? Are you two sharing the same mind-expanding drugs? The full compliment of the Parky Foundation © mind melding, lazer guided satellite technology array is in operation. Stay frosty.
  7. As I've been saying all week. Nothing to worry about in the slightest. Frosty etc.. It's not definite of course but it's difficult not to believe things KK says Milner was finalised Wed night. KK agreed to it when presented with our ongoing options. Trust in Keegler. You claiming to be ITK here? Parky espouses theory upon theory. More OOAL than ITK. NIGHTMARE IN: None OUT: Milner Owen runs out contract, martins needs knee opp and we get tonked off the gooners! Just as well im a dreamer ay Milners gone mate. Hows he gone? cant see anything online? Villa 8.2m. It was No.1 on the agenda at the meeting. KK's temper is fragile atm to say the least. And you know this how? I am Keegan.

  9. I agree Chez, KK was a great player for us, among many others, but Kenny was the best of the lot. He was the best all round player we've ever had. What he lacked in pace he made up for in speed of mind. He had superb ball control, could create something out of nothing and his outstanding individual talent was only surpassed by his willingness to be part of the team. The official site had a vote all of last summer, top 100 players, Kenny came out top still, 20 years after he'd hung up his boots. Can't remember where KK came I'll look it up. Probably top 5, not sure. KK was number 8 Sorry, link didn't work http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/archivedirs...061008-0859.htm Parky will hate me for distracting his thread.. but anyway. One of my favourite all time moments in football (and i remember this from seeing it once on MOTD) was a move between Dalglish and Rush. It was only one touch from Dalglish but the control was out of this world. The ball comes over the halfway line to Dalglish in the inside right channel, who has his back to goal and is marked. Rush is making a run more centrally. Dalglish basically slices the ball with the outside of his foot sending it behind him with swerve. The swerve was (in my memory) inch perfect to carry it into Rush's path, he takes a touch and buries it. I was only 4 when Keegan left you lot but i still remember it. You're one of the few allowed bro.
  10. ha ha toothpaste? If you like players that do drag backs in your own box, then he's your man. Do you remember the goal he scored against you lot on the first day of the season? ha ha I thought he would be a star. Had a big falling out with the Hamburg fans. He was fairly rubbish Im afraid. He did alright here.
  11. If we don't have 3 new players by Tue morning I'll eat my cock.
  12. As I've been saying all week. Nothing to worry about in the slightest. Frosty etc..
  13. Heard this last week. Timmy is a lot better than he looks, certainly has been reasonable and played very well in his first season (06?) 50 odd appearances?
  14. We will, the deals to try and sell Ameobi and Smith were to reduce the wage bill and raise some revenue. As these deals didnt come off, its my reading of the situation that this deal was accepted to allow for additions. Its all well and good pointing to the size of the squad but you need to get rid of salaries too if you want to offer large ones to new players. Agreed. I have no doubts players are on the way.
  15. ...or cut back in and then out, or cut back in and then out, or cut back in and then out, or cut back in and then out, or cut back in and then out.....back pass. Aye, and i bet the first time he gets an assist, the gormless one's fans will be up in arms about us selling him forgetting his normal act. Nailed.
  16. I wish he'd hurry up then Park Life. It's been known locally for a month or so that the stadium would be shelved. Not bothered about that really, just want the Yanks out. DIC can just sit back now and wait for the fuckers to be desperate which could be a while yet. Afternoon Red. I reckon if Kujit hadn't scored and you'd lost on pens they would have bailed (-40m CL money down). 1. What's your debt (inc buyout) running at? 2. Any truth the yanks have been syphoning money for the hockey/basketball/rounders team? 3. Would you have liked KK as manager?

  18. I'm thinking more Ramos watch this year. Could be swayed. So, considering your success rate it will Tottenham finishing 4th now and Benny getting sacked... I'll settle for that.
  19. I normally bang one out. Does the trick.
  20. I'm thinking more Ramos watch this year. Could be swayed.
