  1. Unfortunately I still have doubts whether he has the technique or pace to thrive in the PL.
  2. Horror films need an extra dimension to work for me. Either the black comedy route or the jeopardy has to be unfathomable. As formulaic goes horror is the worst genre.
  3. Was at a party on Fri night chatting on to a neuro-scientist about the brain and ideas. Couldn't get away from her after I laid some highly dubious claptrap on her...
  4. If I have to come back and take power shit is going to get real.
  5. "In fact, there is substantial evidence emerging that the Saudis and their “coalition” allies – and, I suppose, those horrid British “advisers” – are deliberately targeting Yemen’s tiny agricultural sector in a campaign which, if successful, would lead a post-war Yemeni nation not just into starvation but total reliance on food imports for survival. Much of this would no doubt come from the Gulf states which are currently bombing the poor country to bits." http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/saudi-arabia-s-bombing-of-yemeni-farmland-is-a-disgraceful-breach-of-the-geneva-conventions-a7376576.html
  6. There's rumours of a racism video. If that drops then all bets are off.
  7. Yemen gets less coverage by the Lamestream media because we're an integral part of the campaign that is killing thousands. We sell the arms, train the pilots, companies like Raytheon are selling comms and intelligence equipment and radar etc...It's far easier and less problematic for them to continue on the banal Putin is evil track. The House of Saud are a theocratic dictatorship living in the dark ages and routinely commit cruel and barbaric acts on their own people and others. "Presenting the motion in the Commons, Thornberry was subjected to a series of ill-judged interruptions from Labour MPs such as Kevan Jones, Toby Perkins and John Woodcock. Indeed, Thornberry received more vocal support in the chamber from the SNP contingent than from her own supposed comrades. According to subsequent reports, some Labour members even tried to work with their Tory counterparts in order to defeat their own party’s motion. Woodcock, a former chair of Progress, claimed that British support is “precisely focused on training Saudis” to improve their targeting, so as to “create fewer civilian casualties”, parroting the official government line. The idea that the Saudis’ “widespread and systematic” attacks on civilian targets are just a series of well-meaning errors is one that, to put it as gently as possible, lacks credibility. And if decades of training provided by the British to the Saudi pilots hasn’t prevented these supposed errors by now, it seems rather unlikely that it will in the near future."
  8. It's rare you get someone on there that stops all the politicians in their tracks.
  9. The Fall is excellent but with some rather large writing bungles.
  10. I'd say about 80% of TT are wrong about everything not just films. Alex, Gemmil, HF, Rayvin and sometimes Chez and Gloom are the only ones that display half a brain.
  11. Ken Loach explaining how Russia is being encircled followed by a proper balanced ans. God bless him. Here's the news...The cold war never ended.
  12. Someone should tell her to speak slowly on telly and not bob her head all over the place like a demented puppet.
  13. The public were kept in the dark for decades reg the creeping power of the EU and the fact our politicians knew early doors that it would end in Federalism but kept it quiet...Heath specifically knew all about it. Politics is mainly the art of keeping the populous out of the loop. *Talking about our pet subject now...Air quality...Which in London is now shocking.
  14. Germany supports all its host industries in many ways and when we do its suddenly a scandal? Nissan will get grants to develop electric cars.
  15. How are the Govt meant to reveal what the plan is before negotiations have even started ffs! The strategy will take shape after the initial engagements one would imagine. People suddenly want to know everything when for decades they didn't want to know anything or bothered by anything....
  16. Well at least they're not sitting at home planning cologne lines and fashion ranges.
  17. Brighton was worse. Half a craft ale 4.50 it came in a jar....I looked around and there were signs about everything being recycled. Jesus is there no peace anywhere?!
