  1. Mainly by Parky tbf I think it's fair to say that something (or things) happened very recently that were the final straw for the bloke. I sincerely believe he's acting with the fans best interests at heart too. I'm completely unconvinced the others are doing the same. I will stand with him. No worries. I have no doubt he was with us....to the end... I agree, I don't think he had any allies once Mort went either. None with any influence anyway. I think we are beginning to realise what a decent man Mort was.

  3. I guess Mort was maybe taking some/a lot of the friction out of things. A diplomat with his head screwed on. Every organisation needs one IMO. Mort had that about him.
  4. Isn't Poyet waiting for the Spurs job?
  5. This is Apocalypse Now stuff, really....KK is like Kurtz a man of vision a man of inner strength, holed up in the dark jungle which is modern football...This was KK's epitaph, he was ready one last time to bring his inner magic, his dreams, his way (the correct way) to play the game and all along he was dealing with penpushers, grocery clerks and small men...little men...men who have nothing.
  6. Not even long term after getting the wage bill sorted and the dead wood shifted? Don't believe the hype. Ashley thinks it's Millets, stupid fat cunt. It takes a special kind of moron to fall out with what is basically the prime asset ie KK. I actually still think the fall out doesn't involve Ashley tbh. He set the scene, he undermined KK, he talked down to him, he lied to him, he gave this little fuckhead Lambastard ideas that he could mess with KK....Believe me the scene was set from the top. Totally, pre-determined.... I believe you as much as with all your other revelations/predictions/halluzinations tbh. You don't have to believe me, cause this time the fucked the wrong man. KK will speak to us when the situation allows.
  7. I've said that loads of times this morning to various people Gaz. I think everything points to that. The "LMA" saying he's in a difficult position, meaning he doesn't want or feel he should pay £1m if he resigns (to be fair he shouldn't have agreed to it), and at the other side of the coin he has been disrespected and undermined so badly that he feels there is absolutely no way he can go back. He's a man of pride, he is Kevin Keegan, I think he's above all others in our hearts, certainly more so than Shearer in mine, twice European Player of the Year, England's best player in the 70's, and he has been treat like he's a nobody. I think the only way this will be resolved is if a thinly veiled apology comes Keegan's way from the hierarchy at St James'. I wonder if they have the humility and common decency and straight up kudos to apologise to a man they have clearly wronged. A man of great pride and heart, a man who still believes in the romance of the great game a man who always wanted to give something back. I don't see it in them I really don't - Wise, Ashley....Are these the men who we can count on? I take your point they need to make a constructive and honest move that KK understands. I feel for him right now.

You'll be praising him tommorow I bet Parky Industries will not rest till this man is destroyed. You have my word.
  10. He tried to make the best of a difficult situation is my guess and his optimism that he could slowly get through to the jackals was probably misplaced, either way I'm backing him.

  12. More likely the club will sue him. They couldn't sue a shirt. Complete fucking amateurs. If you say so. I thought Ashley's boys were all top lawyers...like Mort who everyone seems to think was competent. They will bottle it and come to a compromise with KK. Think for a min about the fallout from such a long running court case. Some johnny-come-latelies suing the idol of Newcastle football club. Believe me if their amateurishness needs any conformation then taking KK to court will leave nobody in any doubt. I'd like to see them hire another manager while that is ongoing. If KK feels he has a case for constructive dismissal I for one don't doubt it, I take his word over Ashley anytime. COMPLETE AND UTTER DOWN COLD AMATEURS. Similarly I'd like to see Keegan try and take them to court. They'd wipe the floor with him. It's all hypothetical bollocks anyway. It won't go to court, the first sign that KK is serious they will bottle it....They are nothing more than bullies and small time smash and grab merchants.
  13. Totally agree. Broken down to the bones it is just a money making strategy and nothing to do with football whatsoever. KK was the only one batting for us reg what happens on the pitch, the rest of them don't give a toss. Honestly believe this like. I was slaughtered by some on here with that story about Modric, KK's reaction etc. Seems like it was true now iyam. Sadly it looks that way.

  16. We don't have anybody handling the coverage that is the problem. Aye, probably doesn't help. But it's even so someone spills some tea at Newcastle and it's on the back page, a manager at another club rapes a player in front of their entire squad and it makes 3 sentences in a column (well maybe not, but it's not that for off that ). Could you imagine any other English club, barring maybe Man U (and that's more because it would be Fergy), that would have had as much coverage as we got yesterday for the same rumours and lack of information? It's an easy ride. They just hang around till our next crisis (as regular as trains).

  18. Back down on what exactly? The Transfer window is closed. No-one's been sold that he wanted to keep, not since he said it was his choice to sell Milner anyway. Keegan has happily gone along with the set-up for 8 months They're the ones that made this mess, they need to fix it. If they made promises to Keegan and haven't followed through with them then had the cheek to call his bluff when he's blown up about it then they need to back down and admit they were wrong. I don't see Kev returning though because it'd always be underlying now and the press would never leave it alone, Kev couldn't work with Fat Ashley and Wise. IF, and it's a big if, Ashley was going to try and sort it out he'd need to dismiss Wise as a gesture that Keegan isn't being undermined. Aye. It's all if's. The only thing we know is Keegan hasn't been sacked and his most recent comments have been about how happy he was with player acquisitions and departures up until Saturday. I don't know if Keegan's been misled, but he's been lying to the fans one way or another. I don't understand, are you supporting Ashley in all this? It's a time to come together people. I can see you goose stepping down the Champs-Élysées back in '41 "Come on people, just go along with it". I would have carpet bombed the French back to the stone age.
  19. KK will not come back. He will sue the club, but pending such an action he won't be able to talk to us. As time passes, people will start to question KK cause they don't want to worry their little heads with real issues and it's the easiest option. Ashley will introduce a new manager who we can get behind or will have serious pull (he will then be out of the shit). We will spend a little more in Jan than than Ashley really wanted to. The club will continue to be rationalized behind the scenes. Ashley will sell the club and it will be an after dinner butt of jokes for him and his hangers on. It will just be pot luck who the new owners are.
  20. He's got a legal career to attend to.

  23. Wonder if that's true. the indian bloke is still a possibility ..... It's a real shame Mittal is tucked in at QPR. He was talking about Ambani, about 50% of the top 50 on the richlist are Indian. I know who he was talking about.
  24. I refuse to believe Keegan took the job in anything other than good faith and commitment to the cause. I agree with the Ashley bits.
