  1. I grew out of it. And taking up smoking stopped the asthma in its tracks.
  2. I told him all about it next Tuesday. Clever.
  3. Probably made the schoolboy error of using processed honey.
  4. I don't even think he takes them seriously I can never tell with Parky. He reminds me of that quote 'It's good to keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out'. My position on the existence of intelligent alien life existing full stop is that at present we simply don't know, there are too many variables to consider to even make an intelligent guess. However, the continued failure of SETI do detect artificial radio sources outside of the Earth indicates that intelligent life probably isn't very common. And if they were so technologically advanced as to be capable of travelling light years, we'd either know of them because they wanted us to, or we wouldn't because they don't. Seti is only looking at a tiny tiny fraction of the radio event signal. It is like if we were an ant colony next to a five lane motorway would we understand anything about the motorway? That analogy might be true, but then again it might not. I'm just basing my opinions on what we factually know, I'm aware of the limitations of SETI but it's the best data we have. Which kind of brings me back to point about the value of speculating about such things, it might be fun for a while but it gets us no closer to the truth. The truth is dangerous.

  6. Imo that was a proper Ufo event, whether extraterrestrial however I don't think we can ever know. But exotic craft yes.
  7. The Ufo community are aware that the Usaf etc like the idea of using Ufo type incidents as cover for when they fuck up or their things malfunction. What fascinates me is that the things we are aware of and seem to be flying around in broad daylight are project that were started in the late 70's....One can only imagine what they are working on now.
  8. The scram-jet (in development for ages)... Anyway, I think Rendlesham can probably be explained by unusual (atmospheric, etc.) phenomena. Especially if you look at what people said at the time rather than what they said much later. Still a very strange incident all the same. Is this the one with the traces of strange radiation?
  9. When you tell people the 'stealth' stuff on show currently is early 80' s tech...Then of course one can only wonder how late 90's tech might look or behave. Not sure what point you're making there. I sort of get what you're saying but I'm unclear as to what you're being sceptical about - claims of UFOs or claims explaining away UFO sightings. Some sightings or events are clearly 'our' secret technology, maybe even the latest stuff (ie developed in the 90's). The stealth bomber as used in Iraq was developed (was flying) around 1982 (but it was kept secret till I believe Gulf War One). So sightings of that in the 80's would been put down as UFO's. The craft the U.S./Canada/Russia have been working on since the mid-90's would I imagine account for a number of 'UFO' sightings. Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Mikoyan Industries (MiG) it is rumored are working on ceramic/wood/carbon sub-space strike vehicles that can do Mach 8-10. These things have been caught on sat pics (or rather the jet plumes). America is working on planes that have anti-gravity properties. I would say quite some proportion of ufo sightings are our own exotic craft, two generations ahead of stealth. Planes made of wood that can do Mach 10, planes with 'antigravity' properties. Aye righto, is there anything you won't believe? I'm a bit confused now mind if you are backing my point or not about their being no need to involve aliens to explain the Nevada sightings. It's if this was 82 and I'd said America had radar invisible planes. You can't compare stealth technology with anti-gravity though. In case it slipped your attention we can't even adequately explain gravity at the moment, which is why we have invested billions in CERN. I doubt you'd find one physicist that would take your claims seriously.

  13. He only came on for the last 15min or so.
  14. Didn't Modric take part in a training session with KK?

  16. I reckon if he goes it will be to Spurs.
  17. Im sure i read that article a while ago It's about 3 weeks old. I put it up just to give people some background. There is still no clarification on the compensation iirc. Anybody know what is happening here? I actually dont think anything will happen, gutierrez was quite within his rights to activate the webster ruling on his contract. I just think Mallorca are reeling and bitter, one because they didnt accept a bid from pompey and two because they were oblivious to the webster ruling? Just a thought Hope so.
  18. And sudden access to huge tranches of finance.....
  19. Green cheese markets are rising...... Our little space friends love a bit of cheese innit.
  20. Ashley's tentacles reach out to snuff out the fledgling republic.

  22. Disclosure will begin in earnest early next year apparently. The Russian 'contacts' especially will be heavily discussed according to some of the internet communities that babble on about this stuff.
