You start sacrificing them when you're playing away at Stamford Bridge and you're at the wrong end of the table. I can't imagine there's anyone who'd have preferred us to adopt an open style of play and take another 0-5 humping just so that Chelsea could pat us on the head and say how cute we were. If we were going out to play a spoiling game against the likes of West Brom or Stoke then it'd be a different matter. Nutshell.

That's not torture though that's....... erm..... Law and Order? Is electrocuting someone in the neck safe? Fuckin hell! Apparently so (tasers have already been used like that in the UK during the trial, to force already subdued people to further comply). Well the UN disagree, but who are they? Of course if someone in the Yemen might, maybe threaten to do it to someone (maybe), then that IS torture, of course. Don't worry I understand your subtext vis a vie a psychological weapon.

Sounds way off tbh. Yeah, I was thinking of guns I think, or maybe got confused with a call for a 5 year mandatory sentence. Indy. You need 5 cause they'd be out in 2-3 anyway.

Players and supporters jump in to safe this geezer from a pounding.

Which would actually take our transfer dealings into a net profit. I can't remember whether he went just before or after the club was taken over but that makes very little difference anyway since he went the summer Allardyce arrived. Parker left a week before Barton and Rozenhal arrived so the £7M recouped was quickly spent then some (£8.7M for the two). I'm not saying he's spent loads or anything by the way. Remember that 50 pager on N.O. when I was pontificating we needed to spend 100m over two windows to compete? Aye, and then Hull go and do it on less than £7M in a single window!

I really don't think there is anything wrong with fatty.

Agree. There needs to be tougher legislation against the carrying of knives etc.. I'd agree with that too. I think we're already seeing that in terms of Judges going towards the more severe end of current tariffs but whether that in itself will be adequate...? I don't know that we're seeing any greater deterrent effect coming through yet anyway. I wouldnt be averse to going higher on sentencing on this either for the record. Nor would I. Imo people carrying knives when they go out for a pint are animals and need to be treated as such.

AmEx customers have always been second-class citizens in Europe, mind. There's tons of shops in Germany that (reluctantly) take most major credit cards, but not AmEx. Enough to make you want to join the BNP tbh. (insert pun about Banque Nationale de Paris here) No good. Bankrupt as well apparently.

It still doesn't stand up to scrutiny as anyone with a gun (imitation or otherwise), sword, axe (or taser) and genuinely dangerous with a knife is still likely to be shot anyway. And in other situations CS spray will be more or less as effective as a weapon of last resort/self defence (although not as a weapon of threat/forced obedience/torture). I think once these are rolled out genrally we'll see the quiet move toward arming all police with handguns - the biggest opponents to this presently are still the police themselves, but the tide is inexplicably moving that way. The police are but pawns.

Sit tight. If they go you won't owe them anything. Reminds me of the morons who reckoned that if Northern Rock went bust then they would own their house outright with no mortgage.

In Alan Smith £6000000 Claudio Cacapa Free Jose Enrique Villarreal £6500000 Habib Beye £2000000 Abdoulaye Faye £2000000 Danny Guthrie £2500000 Fabrizio Coloccini £ 10300000 Jonas Gutierrez £??????? Xisco £??????? £29.3M+ Out Kieron Dyer £6000000 Alberto Luque £2000000 Nolberto Solano Free Matty Pattison £??????? Peter Ramage Free David Rozehnal £2900000 Emre Fenerbahce £??????? Abdoulaye Faye £2250000 James Milner £??????? £13M+ I'm guessing around £15m for Emre and Milner so that leaves a net spend of about £9m (assuming Xisco was £8m). Not a huge outlay for two full summer transfer windows. Xisco was 5.25m. We won't have paid the whole Ricky fee either.

The speculation in the Journal this morning was that it's him, Smith and Geremi who he'd like to see go. I think you'd have to just about give the last two away considering the wages they'll be on though. Why can't we spend the Mewnah money??! The argument will be that was spent on Xisco, Colo, Guthrie and Jonas. But....but...but KK was told the Mwwnah money was for pigfucker (Schweinstieger). I've been let down by so many people throughout my life, and I bet you have too. Collectively we've all been let down and have been sold a lie, a fuckin lie, I was bitter when Keegan left, I feel even more bitter now, everything we were told was a lie. I actually feel quite upset, like me hoose has been burgled, but the burglers won't fuck off. The thing is I'm that stupid if the situation is the same as it is now in the summer, I'll still buy me season ticket, but we were sold lies on the season ticket front too, his big emotional write up on the site brought to light details which weren't even discussed before the push to sell season tickets. Why? I hope he feels as depressed as I do about it, doubt it though. People like you need to get involved with NUSC.
