  1. But does that crane move? Really man you have no clue about this. Here at Blohm and Voss they have 500 tonne cranes but they are stationary. They pick something up and drop it a 100 yards away.
  2. Do you have any ans for the questions btw? Regarding labour they love to tell us the stones were rolled on wooden logs...Err where exactly did thousands of hardwood logs come from? One of the myths is this hired labour lark. Most of the work in the official versions was done by farmers who at the same time were looking after their crops in the fields. There is no way with the tech they had (vine rope, pulleys, copper tools )and the official time line you could knock up the bigger pyramids in 20 years. I think someone worked out you'd need 100,000 men working 24/7 without sleep.
  3. Apparently the more mystifying the job title the more important the job.
  4. There are some good jobs going in N.Y. apparently.
  5. I am already Chez's bitch.
  6. Yes, that's a possibility, but he doesn't like the theory that technology, ideology, and customs may not be indigenous. Or it could mean there was a civilisation that rivaled Atlantis in the same time period. Mu, Lumeria?.. only in folklore currently but so was Troy not too long ago. I'm well aware of changing sea levels. I'm also well aware of shifting geology, hence why it's possible that the structures off Japan are man made and are now deep below sea level. Hawass and the Egyptian Govt are basically peddling lies. Not telling lies, just not seeking evidence to dispel alternate theories. The only theory he has dispelled is the Pyramid/alien connection. But anyone with an ounce of knowledge about the subject would have known that that was bollocks. Aliens didn't create the pyramids, man did, Egyptians. But the watermarks on the sphinx theory has been avoided by Hawass. He's a nationalist, and a traditionalist. What has been written should stay that way. Are you going by the dynastic time-scale for construction? Yes. Pyramids built beginning 2500BC to match up stars in Sirius and Orion belt, to symbolise heaven on earth. You have to go back to 10,500BC for the sphinx, along with the pyramids to all be aligned. So there were priests with astronomical knowledge in 10,500BC and this was all a grand master plan to map out a heaven on earth. This was a very brief summary. The stones weigh upto 1oo tons to some that are 200/300 tones. There are over two million stones in the biggest pyramids at an allignement (sat pics) which shows the center is 1/4 inch out...At that size it is something we can't do today. The biggest lifting land crane on the planet has a limit of 180/200 tons in 2008. If you're going by dynastic build times bearing in mind we know the quarry was 3km away across the river and official build times were 20 years, they would have to be laying a stone every 5 min or something......You see it's a joke. If they were burial chambers why was there never anybody inside....They were buried in the valley were they not? Why in the slavishly accurate and covering every wall they could get hold of is there no story of the pyramids in the hyrogliphs of that period? And why do they ignore Abydos?
  7. That is the Usaf stuff. Flying triangle developed in the late eighties. The later versions have SHARP and can be totally invisible if they want for about 10min, before the exotic coating oxidizes. The coating (a metal/silica gel) also protects the craft when it does its tricks at Mach 19. Active stealth however has been superceded. * The coating it is rumoured is developed off world.
  8. This thread has turned into a salivating, pc- pervy- paradise.
  9. Going back 3/4 years my old amd pc with xp never ever crashed. My iMac never crashes. My vista x2 intel core 2 laptop crashes at least once a day.
  10. And where do you reckon we're gonna get the money to replace them? Also, don't we have an option of a further year on Viduka's contract? If they leave then the club will have to replace them, if Ashley is still here next Summer then I think the club is off the market so I've no reason to think that they won't be replaced, whether it's going out and paying £10 million for someone like we did with Coloccini or getting a player of Jonas quality on a free. And yes we have an option of a further year on Viduka's contract but I don't think we will bother. My point is that Ashley barely dipped his hand in his pocket whenever he was sitting among the fans and being Mr. Popular, what makes you think that's he's going to splash out now when he knows that most of the fans despise him? Because if players leave then he won't have any choice except to replace them, I don't think he went into last Summer with the intention of spending nothing either. Then what about the outlay in the two windows prior to that? £9 million in the Summer wasn't a massive amount but considering the circumstances of the whole review I didn't really have a problem with it, the January was clouded by Keegan coming in halfway through and following a bid that was accepted for Woodgate Keegan said he was the only player he went for, unless he was lying to the fans again. Uh oh!
  11. Don't buy one yet, AMD are bringing out a new CPU early next year which at best will compete with Intel at a lower price and at worst will bring Intel prices down. Athlon x2 no good? AMD were way ahead for years, but couldn't really capitalise on it outside of the self-build market because Intel had the big boys tied up and roasting over their oem corporate spits. They've fallen behind in price/performance in the last couple of years due to some technical problems they had and Intel finally putting out some strong chips, although they were still decent CPUs and still decent value (now they've fixed a lot of the initial issues, they are much closer to Intel in outright performance and maybe back ahead in price/performance). The new generation (they are doing an x2 compatible one I think) seem about to redress the balance again - Intels latest generation of CPU's having their old pricing scale of "comparable to a small family car" and not much faster than their previous generation. Athlon x2 based systems are very cheap in Hamburg. Do I really have to wait till after X-mas. Can't I upgrade the processor later?

  13. Those flying triangles seem to be everywhere. Possible energy weapon caught on film.
  14. You just know though, the minute Harper signed for someone else,Given's legs would spontaneously break, and Krul would have his neck torn off in a bizarre pet gorilla related incident. It's NUFC...... these things will happen.
  15. Yeah do this. But get a better graphics card for those little gaming emergencies.
  16. The first thing Gems is there isn't much programs wise that will utilise a quad core unless you're doing digital music or video editing. IMO it's overkill. A Core 2 Duo is plenty. I was looking at a new pc the other day here and can get it down to €340 (Euro).

  18. 99.9% of an atom is space (a vacuum like nothing).
  19. Well they think he's planning on banning new gun sales of summink. He can't be going that far, he will get shot (as would Bush or anyone else). Maybe just banning new anti-tank weaponry sales? Some kind of gun control has to be on the way....There may be trouble ahead...(in a slightly sing song manner)..One gun per person for a start (some of these blokes have a cellar full of em).
