  1. No, indeed you haven't come right out and denied that you are in fact a cunt. He's paying his cuntishness off in installments apparenty.
  2. He did and then he changed his story and then changed it again....ad naseum...
  3. He said many thing in his "last" statements, the problem is whatever is his "last" statement tends not always to marry up with his prior statements. I will only believe what JFK says.
  4. Police dish out kicking without realising he is a soldier.
  5. By MARTIN HARDY, 29/11/2008 WOULD-BE buyers of Newcastle have been told Mike Ashley has NOT cleared all of the club’s debt. A potential buy-out collapsed 10 days ago with Ashley unable to agree a fee with an American company. It had been thought that the Sports Direct billionaire had wiped out the £100million debt he inherited from outgoing chairman Freddy Shepherd last year. But Sport of the World has learned that he has, in fact, only serviced part of that figure. As Stevie would say, I've been a "lone voice" on this issue.

  7. As far as I'm aware the only surprise Ashley had was the money owing on past transfers. How much could that really have been? I understand it perhaps reducing the amount he had set aside for transfers but I don't believe it's the entire reason we've spent next to fuck all on transfers. "Ashley revealed that the debt he inherited at Newcastle was £100m but said that the speed of the purchase meant: "There was no time to do the usual due diligence on the deal because I had to move so quickly. "So I paid £140m for the club with the expectation that there was a debt of £70m. Actually it was around £100m so there was suddenly an extra £30m to find. But I just thought: 'Shut up about it'. I'm a big boy and I didn't cry. "To me the real issue was this: Was the debt bigger than I thought? Yes. Would I have changed my mind if I'd known the full extent of the debt? Not one iota. "It might have been a different story if I had needed to go to the bank to borrow the money but I didn't. I have my own money and anyway, I tend to live by the saying you can't take it with you." Ironic last statement from last year.
  8. Tbf to him, I think he wanted to sell, but the markets have gone against him. Needs to get that price down a tad as well. In principle you'd think that was a good idea. The problem is, the asset has a value that is based on more than market sentiment, it is based on revenue streams, future growth potential, the brand, all sorts of things that are more tangible than 'market turbulence'. If you drop the price low enough, then you open up the market to not just serious investors but anyone who can scrabble together the lowered asking price. Just think what sort of people would put their hat into the ring if the price was a quid. (actually didnt Abramovic buy Chelsea for a quid?). Anyway, you get my point. Yup. Everyone needs to hold tight for now. It's 'staying frosty' that has gotten us into this position. No it's definitely Mike Ashley. The core of the problem goes back to lack of due diligence. I'n sure if he knew what he was getting into be wouldn't have purchased the club.

  12. Yes I'm seriously telling you just that. Doesnt make you right though. The LMA released a statement saying more or less that anyway. So the LMA have said it but Keegan cant as he'd get sued? He can say anything he wants to say at any time, his lawyer may advise against him saying anything that would prejudice his case. Thats assuming there is a case? Keegan is suing us i take it, was never sure? My feeling is that after the last meet with MA and KK they agreed a standoff which imo is best for all involved especially the club. Alan Oliver? I also have it on good authority.

  14. The fact that MA hasn't sued KK for breach of contract yet tells you all you need to know. It also suggests he wants a way back into the club.

  16. The world doesn't work like that, especially when high fee lawyers get involved.
  17. What that they buy what they're told to buy?
  18. Who did we sell that Keegan didn't want to go? (remembering that Keegan said the Milner offer was too good to turn down) The Milner offer was too good to turn down - ON THE PROVISION that the money from his sale was reinvested into the team. When Keegan made that statement it was on that basis. He was lead to believe that Milner would be replaced (and not by an injured loan 'signing'). Keegan said when we sold him that "Every player had his price" - £12m for Milner was at least £4m more than his value. All of a sudden though, this comment got turned into "Whole squad up for sale", after he'd left. By all accounts the money he was promised was available for 2 more players wasn't, and Owen, Barton and Smith were all touted around behind his back at the last second. As bizarre as it seems we could currently be sitting on the same squad minus Owen, Barton and Smith (Smith ok, but Owen and Barton aren't players to lose with no replacements). Again, all speculation. At the end of the day though, they're still here so Keegan should have been happy. Not really, there's enough been said that the smart money would be on it being true. But the issue is not whether they were sold at the last second or not (clearly they weren't ), but that they were touted behind Keegan's back. Why on earth would Keegan be happy about that? He was lied to in at least two different ways? Would YOU be "happy" about that? Again, where's the proof that these players were being touted about? If this was the case, why hasn't Keegan came out and said this is the reason why he's left? (think it's pretty shocking how he's said nowt these last 3-months to the fans who are backing him despite not knowing all of the facts.) If it's because of the compensation thing, if he said that and it was true, then what does he have to worry about? Getting sued by a billionaire can be quite painful.
