  1. Ideally get Johnson and Onuha coming the other way.
  2. He's meant to be alright apparently. Better than Butt fo sho.
  3. He moaned a few times about the lack of money though and that is my point. Source? You can easily dig up SA's comments that Jan. I can't...and I have looked. Tough.
  4. I'd think we should take that. He clearly doesn't have his heart in it any longer. It's a profit as well.

  6. He moaned a few times about the lack of money though and that is my point. The scouting system has had partial success. The missing piece was an experienced general manager with football experience. The alpha male being the owner is half the problems.
  7. Got in over his head, bad appointments, the finance markets going against him, dealing with debt from the previous regime. Easy. But I don't believe for a moment he's an idiot.
  8. We'll get a top line coach in the summer and it is clear if we put the hysteria aside that there are still many attractive things about managing in the PL. I refuse to believe they aren't looking for a top line manager. time to wake up and smell the (own brand instant) coffee mate. we're being by a clueless fuck kinnear will very likely accompany us on our trip down the leagues. That view defies logic I'm afraid. The only reason to own a football club is to own a PL one.
  9. Where do you get that from. Personally I have no recollection of that having been the case at the time. EDIT: Why would you sack someone and incur a huge payout on their contract because they asked for more money, when you could just say "no" and let him resign? I'm surprised you're so poorly informed. The argument that lead to his sacking was about needing to spend that Jan, while Mort had one eye on the books. He accepted Enrique, Cacapa and Rosy, but at the time expressed doubts about all of them. I think it's one of your patented flights of fancy stated as fact. I will not be broken.

  11. Yeah, yeah I've heard all that stuff, but it doesn't make sense. JK is playing to an audience (us, the players, transfer targets), he's not upto it and they know that.
  12. Robinho walked out of the Man City training session yesterday so might not get picked.
  13. Mort sacked SA cause he asked for more cash and iirc was whinning at the poor/untried players he was having to deal with. I like Mort but it's a red herring.

  15. There can only be one reason he's gone public with his contract discussions and that is to put pressure on the club. I doubt there is a piece of paper anywhere that he can just sign.
  16. WW2? Rob is right what we do these days is more or less put a dictatorship in place or bomb the fuck out of anyone who won't do everything we want. Aye, but that's always been the case. Democracy is the least worse system, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't throw up issues (be it WW2, Hamas, Kosovo - ethnic cleansing of Serbians under Democracy and effective UN Sanction, or earlier Mugarbe). Interestingly as well (from a democratic point of view) the popular vote was much closer than the seats Hamas gained suggests: Hamas 440,409 votes 44.45% 74 seats (29/45) (Proportional/District seats) Fatah.. 410,554 votes 41.43% 45 seats (28/17) (Proportional/District seats) So although Hamas won a big victory in administrative power they only just beat Fatah vote for vote. Didn't know that.
  17. I want those three out asap.
  18. We won't get relegated. Stop all this nonsense.
  19. An aggrieved Nicky Butt is in discussions with Wise about a discrepency in his wages. In other news Wise has told Smith and Geremi that they're not wanted.
  20. I've been saying this about Martins for months. But we do need at least one midfield dynamo in the middle who can impose himself. at the moment we have a lightweight and an old man who gives the ball away constantly. Agreed; but someone who can see a pass and execute it. Give our forwards some ammunition. Well, that I've been saying for..Oh...3 years now.

  22. Yes but he'll lose 20-25m TV money at a stroke. He doesn't look too worried about it,at least not enough to get his hand in his pocket. We will get a couple of players, it's just that I'm sure the quality and quantity won't be enough.
