Rating patients by how much money they have squirrelled away in the British Virgin Isles? Progressive, Chessy would approve. Don't let the cat out of the bag. Weight is a working class issue. [1979/]

Profit? You mean companies not wanting their property to be illegally distributed? I download as much copyrighted material as anyone else but you can see why the companies want to prosecute. Fair play to the lads though for sticking to their guns though. Thing is though, they're just a search engine. If they get sued successfully, then Google, Yahoo!, et al could be brought to suit on precedent. Side note, I always just thought Fop was the past tense of Fap. Musicians used to live on charity once upon a time innit. Surely they got paid for entertaining people then as now, just in a less structured way. They were sponsored by the rich and stuff and many died poor..Didn't effect the quality. Making music is a gift not something that should require millions in the bank. Musicians used to have to tour to make money...Work in other words. Film production is expensive and for me a different debate. Musicians often have to tour to make money now. Although you're implication that producing music in the studio doesn't require hard work is a bit perplexing to me. I think you're talking shit basically It would be different if you were a song writer who was getting all their work stolen. I think you'll find most of the 'work' is already stolen. Plagiarism is rife in every single walk of life Parky. It doesn't mean there isn't still originality within music though. You can even be clever and original with plagiarism if that makes sense. I'm only really bothered about the artists btw. The companies have been ripping the customers and the artists off for years. U2 get about 11p an album. Cut out the record companies and watch the prices come down.

The stupid thing is they make more money and make piracy go away by simply changing their business model, not suing 10 year olds or going to war with their own customers. The problem is the industry has been getting away with ridiculous price fixing for years, and want to have their cake and eat it - without realising it is now impossible. Cheap DVDs have shown the way, selling them for a few £'s boosts turn over and overall profit massively (it hits Blu-ray hard currently, but you can't have everything) to the point that straight to DVD is often what the money men are aiming at rather than cinema revenue as good DVD sales eclipse everything. PC gaming is going down the same daft street, with them starting to sell games that only give you 3-5 installs of the game and then wondering why their sales are plummeting of those game with such ridiculous DRM (and ironically pirating of said games is going through the roof hand in hand with plummeting sales). Conversely software houses actively and constructively disengaging from DRM are getting higher sales and finding their games less pirated. Agree with all of that. The best way to deal with copying is to reduce crazy prices.

Tetchy when you're not right aren't you. It's not a case of wanting to be right. I was (imo anyway) discussing something interesting. I was on about how religious architecture is impressive in a way nothing else (in building terms) seems to be able to touch on. That's a personal view, to do with the scale, atmosphere and so on. You said there were ancient buildings that have now been destroyed which were just as impressive. I asked about them. You avoided specifcs and insinuated that I said Islam had completely invented its own style of archictecture. When I explained I thought the opposite was true., you again referred to these (un-named) buildings. I asked for specifics again (out of genuine interest) so you went on about Greeks designing Islamic buildings anyway. I honestly don't know what you're getting at. Do you even know what you're on about? It's clearly all Greek to you. As you're doing your usual trick of trying to find a specific point and then trying to drag your prey off into the mire to drown it; well again there are loads of example, many of them unfortunately destroyed in Islamic expansion. Out of genuine interest are you saying that if Islam hadn't existed there'd not be a similar style of architecture in the area? Are you saying that there wasn't similar architecture there before? Persian, Byzantine, even Christian? (again mostly designed by Greeks though) Are you saying that (much like The Beatles) Greek architects didn't build most everything anyway. Bum bandits to a man.

That's what he is now though. I agree: Fifth Element, Leon... class. But Taxi 3 and 4 for example... My theory on French dir is that they get famous, start shagging too much and then lose the plot. -

Cheers I actually thought you had one in Allardyce, seems Ashley didn't agree... And as for Kinnear, he'll do enough to keep you in the premiership but that's not what you should be aiming for, you do have a good enough team though. Barton( not a bad player, despite being a twat), Nolan, Duff, Martins, Owen, need a few quality defenders though IMO. @Stevie: Haha, well it isn't a fantastic chant, but it's ours and I wouldn't change anything for it. I was wondering. Do you know how much debt Villa had when Lerner took over? Had 'Deadly Doug' kept a tight ship, in that regard? (don't know why I was typing that with a meedlunds accent, but I couldn't help it!!) Also, in respect of defenders, I expect O'Neil and other top managers to come with their bags of gold for Bassong in the summer. We were never in any debt at any one point under Doug's reign. Not because he was a financial genius, but because we spent fuck all. We paid cheap and for that, we got cheap quality players. There is some ridiculous reasons for us not signing players with Doug, something involving being unable to call somebody, so a player went elsewhere. Can't remember it exactly though. I'm half expecting us to come in for Owen this summer, unsure about him, we don't need him but he can still finish like one of the best. Beye always looks a quality player when i watch Newcastle, so does.. Jonas? ( Can't, and won't say his first name) Lerner came in and we were half expecting the same thing again as he didn't make any real signings until his second season. Villa have quite a large debt now.

Assuming, of course, you don't want to see every search engine capable of generating a result for ".MP3" get sued. I'm down with paying for music/ movies/ TV shows. I'm not one of those, "Everything should be free!" people. I actually have an album on iTunes that generates me 20 or 30 bucks a year from downloads. Piracy is a problem, but going after search engines isn't the way to fix it. What are you babbling about ringo?

Berbatov was really big toon fan and especially big Shearer fan. Its funny but i played against his brother Asen when i was at my youth club but he was never the same class as his big brother. also i dont think that the region from where Berbatov is(Blagoevgrad)there are alot of newcastle fans sadly the most fans of english football are supporting liverpool, man utd and arsenal.there are also alot of chelsea fans but they are glory hunters because they are fans after the Abramovich era. its pitty that newcastle dont have enough fan base in bulgaria because they are really big club imo. i think even tottenham have more fans then newcastle. nevertheless all of us who supports newcastle in bulgaria we are proud to be newcastle supporters and we hope that they are better times infront of our club also i must say that in bulgaria they are alot of england supporters including me. in bulgaria the people love the english football and the premiership. Fuck!! Lucky Stevie missed this bit.

He can't know that many people as he couldn't even get me St Pauli tickets! So Parky know any kino owners in Hamburg? I know the bloke who owns the Metropolis round the corner from me. The bar is run by an English lady. Well get me a screening for my movie twat!!! Or at least tell him to answer my emails. PM me the details rasta. I've got a script outline to deliver to the Hamburg film fund by April. Ain't written one sodding line yet.

first we created the site and the forum and after that slowly we started to talk about meetings and stuff like that. the most of the guys who support newcastle are from the capital of Bulgaria=Sofia, including me also. Now the site and the forum is starting to become more and more famous and we hope that we can attract more supporters. Also we are thinking about creating official Newcastle United Supporters Fan Club but its still early to tell. We just hope that the club can go in the right direction and to be where it was 4-5 years ago with SBR. Personally i think that we must have adequate manager if we want to go where Villa are now for example. Villa are there where we were 5-6 years ago. We all hope Newcastle can go in the right direction. Time will tell if thats what is about to happen. Yes we certainly need an adequate manager.
