Well for a very long time we only had one full time scout.

There was that bit where he scuffed a cross and the def just picked the ball up and started running away with it and Shola (5 yards away) just watched.

Luckily he's all ours for years to come! He managed to fit in nearly all that's bad about him today. We had the lazy not running about, the not attacking the ball when decent and occasionally great crosses came in, the endless run of stupid fouls on defenders, usually pushing them or pulling their shirt, all we needed was an awful scuffed shot and beign caught offside through lack of concentration! At one point Taylor (Ryan) chucked a good long throw into the box and Shola was ducking as it came in FFS! And as somebody else mentioned at one point, knowing fine well he was up front alone, he flicked a header on, to who, i have no idea! Surely the obvious thing to do is start with a Viduka or Martins, who have some ability and see how long you get from them before their lack of match fitness means they need to be subbed, then you bring the other one on! I think Viduka and Lovennkrands could have done quite well togther then second half unleash Martins' pace on them. He really has got it all hasn't he. I will never ever ever understand that any of the powers that be, or have been, can continue to let this twat, disgrace the shirt. And those that were at the game know Hughton and co had to be "forced" into dragging him off by the crowd. KK tried really hard to get rid.

Just got back from the game. Very worried with these two running the show. Pranced around the technical area whispering to each other constantly clinging to a clipboard throughout the game. Only introduced Martins after relentless deafening pressure from the crowd. Enrique looks t be getting better and better. Jonas poor. Should have started to win. Shame. Butt has had his one good game out of 5 now.

Thats what happens when you turn up during the interval I was there (obviously), it was canny, there was no protest so not quite sure where Gejon was coming from. It was a call to action, not to storm the club or anything but for everyone to give their all in support of the lads on the pitch. It was also a call for people to question what is going on at the club and a chance to point out some of the things happening both within NUFC and the NUSC. All in all it was a good natured get together that saw a good couple of hundred people take in some music, discussion and a speaker who was vocal but passionate about this football club. Well done PP keep it up.

Good result all things considered. Everton without their core midfielders were there for the taking today. I'd have started with Oba. Looked a little sluggish but a real goal threat compared to Shola. Lovenkrands had an absolute stinker.

Are you mental? He had a tonne of money behind him and he was still only just treading water with Sunderland. This is a man who dropped some of his best players because of how they held themselves when running onto the training pitch. Should have added a fine to that.
