My point exactly, even if it was agreed half an hour after his first game back. At least we would have just ensured nothing was amiss.

Its the Turnpike in Chapel House mate. Of course! Ive spent weeks looking at it and thinking its a pub/club round that way but couldnt put me finger on it. Used to be a good bar, many a year ago

Keep meaning to ask this Anth, whats your Ava? is that one of the clubs in Lemington?

And if hes crocked? I cant see what is to be gained from it, there is an existing agreement that we can buy him after 25 games so whats spoiling? What would we have lost by waiting til we'd at least had him playing a few games post injury? Because other clubs might be sniffing around him. For the price that's been rumoured, I think we'd be made not buy him ASAP. Especially with regards to the position we're in, under Ashley's regimé who knows when the next time an opportunity to sign a player with as much talent will crop up. It's a no brainer if you ask me. I really can't see why people are grumbling about this. So why take him on loan in the first place? why agree a 25 game loan period witha guaranteed price at the end of it if you're just going to buy him for that price anyway? I agree totally that we should buy him but thats on the assumption that hes not lost anything with this injury. Knowing our luck we'll pay the money then realise theyve sown his foot back on backwards or summat

Columbo! KNEW he was a wrong un. What a horrible fucking bastard. Waits til her partner goes away then kills her. You just know this is going to be over some daft little dispute, what do you reckon? she put non-aluminium cans in the recycling? left the garage door open overnight or noisily put the bins out during the Countdown conundrum stage?

I'll give you some scenarios just to keep you happy. 1. This is the sweetener before the lemon thats to come in January re Enrique, Carroll etc 2. Its just talk to shut us up. 3. Its an attempt to stimulate the sale of half yearly STs. As Ant says, we're making a deal that didnt need to be made until the Summer, we have an agreement and there shouldnt be a need to change that especially as we've not seen the player since his horrendous injury. Maybe hes not going to be the player he was, maybe hes lost a yard of pace. Who knows? sense would say that you wait and check him out again after the injury. Unless of course Marseille are pushing it but again, regardless of the fact he got the injury while playing with us thats the gamble of loans. We're under no obligation to buy a player just because of that. If hes half the player he looked before the injury then I'll still be happy with the purchase but I cant see any sense in it taking place now and not at the agreed time.

Whats the problem with the layout and what phone you using? iPhone, I mean I can use the site fine in safari, but all the zooming in and out to navigate/read posts is a bit of a ball ache I know what you mean, the worst bit for me is the time lag when its loading and all you want to do is scroll down but as each image loads it jumps back up. We could just create a new skin without any images etc which you could select manually when browsing on phone, you'd need to change it back again when you next go on PC though. Try changing to IP.Board Pro * from the dropdown, by virtue of a cock up theres no images in there but it is a lot faster as a result. If I get a bit spare time I'll look to implement a mobile stylesheet which would make it more like the old mobile sites.

This is one of my worries though. I see Ashley and Lambsarse as thinking the totally opposite of any other sane owner/chairman. A sensible owner would hang onto his best players if the teams looking like potential drop candidates to give him the best chance of survival. I worry that Ashley will see resale values as the factor. Stay in Premiership and we can afford to hold onto the likes of Carroll, Enrique etc or if we decide to sell then we can command a premium figure. Drop however and the players want to go and other clubs know you cant afford to hang on therefore drive harder bargains. Carroll for £20m in January or £10m in June when were a Championship club oooooh its a gamble..... One of the few gambles I worry that Ashley isnt willing to take.

Fucking Hell pud, we could also go into that game looking at a European spot! honestly, the negativity here is fucking absurd sometimes. Yay! lets all pretend to ourselves that we have a hope in hell of getting into Europe that way when we're relegated we can all feign surprise and look bewildered for the Sky cameras. We're a lot closer to Nottingham Forest than we are to Napoli, much better chance of playing Leicester than Leverkusen next season.

Id be happier if he never got paid by us again. Premiership footballer my arse.

As unlikely a scenario as it is, if results go against us we could be going into the Makem game 2nd bottom. Regardless of that though we need to be going there on the back of two wins because they will clearly be up for revenge.

No game is a game for Smith.

I fancy pizza for tea now

Purely luck though, nothing was to be gained from keeping a player on the pitch who is clearly not in the right frame of mind. At worst he gets sent off, at best he's so careful that he's ineffective.

and in 2008 we had West Ham (h), Blackburn (a) and Man City (a) who at that time were only 2 points above us. We got 1 point.
-
We need to calm it down, cant afford any suspensions.

fucking bollocks

Took his fucking time to sub him

Blackburn 3 - 1 up at West Brom. Thats 3 teams below us so far picking up points, we need something from this.
