Yeah Id admit that on current results I could be made to eat my words heavily, at the same time though Im nowhere near revising my prediction on relegation just yet. Bottom 3 is looking unlikely though. I would say though that we are definitely looking better than we have done at this stage in previous seasons, theres no problems with the team gelling or other worries like that. The big test will be how the team reacts when things go wrong, hopefully we'll get to Man City with no major problems. I expect nothing from those 3 games after, if they are all heavy defeats then we could have problems. A win against Norwich would confirm we have the necessary attitude and belief in ourselves.

I use Enterprise through work all the time theyre good quality cars and as said they'll pick you up and drop you off afterwards. Couple of things to note, the Merc is nowt special and for a long journey isnt half as comfortable as you'd imagine however if you really fancy one then book an automatic of a lower class and chances are they wont have any in stock and will upgrade you. For a long journey book a Mondeo Titanium, they really are the dogs bollocks and a reasonable enough price as well. All the toys, half leather heated seats, DAB radio and a bluetooth hands free that actually works (the Mercs was a mare, took me nearly an hour to pair the iPhone to it). I drove one from Stansted to home and only stopped once for a quick coffee and piss, still felt fresh when I got back.

I had a consultancy at the hospital today and before going in they check your weight and height. So this 5ft tall woman tells me to stand on the scales and tries to measure me so she tells me my weight and I ask what height she got me at and she replies "6ft 2", bloody hell Ive shrunk I replied, I was over 6ft 7 last time I checked, no sir you're definintely 6ft 2. After a couple of half joking, half serious "listen pet, Im way more than that" she finally relents and says "look I'll convert the metric so you can see."so as you'll see you're just below 201cm and thats......6ft 7.......oooooh so you are" I hope she doesnt move into aneasthetics SO Im now officially 6ft 7 and 249lb fat twat

Its hard to say for definite whether we are a better team than last year or have simply played worse teams. Those we've played based on the corresponding games Arsenal - This season currently 10 places lower (13th/3rd) SAFC - 7 places lower (14th/7th) Fulham - 2 places higher (15th/17th) QPR - 4 places higher (10th/14th) Villa - 3 lower (8th/5th) Blackburn - 8 lower (18th/10th) At the end of the day, Im well chuffed we've done as well as we have and looking at the fixtures I cant see any major worries until that hideous 3 game run in November. Im not however getting carried away, a good run breeds high confidence which helps, a bad one can really break it so its how well we can cope with that which will tell on the season.

Comparison to last season - we were bottom after these games!

7 places and 7 points better off so far. Looking very good it has to be said. -
Maybe the teams that we have played are in the lower half because we weren't kind enough to lose to them ?? We got 3 total points last year from the same fixtures. OH (edit) and good post Chez we had 5. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...=31315&st=0

Jonathan Wilson - world-renowned football writer, author of the acclaimed history of tactics, “Inverting the Pyramid”, and editor of The Blizzard. This for me sums up being a fan, my dad has no interest in football, Im hoping the little fella does and we can spend time like that. As for having another team, yes you can have an interest in another club, for me its Telford having spent many a cold weekday evening there while working but in the great scheme of things I couldnt give a rats arse if they win, lose or draw. The only club I get emotional about, be it joy, anger or pride is Newcastle and thats how it will always be.

Whoa, congratulations! To be honest, I'm up at 6 every day anyway, so this whole thing is sounding like a piece of piss to me. Getting up at 6 is one thing, sorting yourself, making a drink, breakfast for him then changing a shitty nappy and keeping them amused before heading to work is a totally different thing

Thats good enough for me like

Do you have a routine for getting the little un down?

I love it, Im shit at it but really enjoy a wander out on the course. This years been shite though weather wise, Im a fair weather player like. We should arrange a toontastic golf day.

Bill Quay? NO idea mate, never met the bloke that runs it yes, Bill Quay

We sometimes go to the one at Pelaw, little community farm and then theres a great playground across the road from it.....with a zip slide that requires dads help
-
Sad thing is it wouldnt, as far hes concerned it would merely mean that the blind and those listening on radio got to hear about his shops. No publicity is bad publicity as they say.
-
Which farm?
-
Surely the £30m+ leftover from Carroll sale should do that though
-
Thats the bit I couldnt get, its the one that I was referring to that could be seen as "were doing well because we borrowed money to strengthen the team" (something I advocate btw, as seen by this thread). Its not even possible to say how much this loan is for. "Advancing the seasons Premier League money", Im assuming could refer to the basic £14m or so that every team gets. Anything more is an unknown although it could go up as far as what? £40m (the amount we got from League position and TV revenue last season)

Jesus H Christ on a bike she looks like the upside down faced kid from Family Guy

gonna have to google her
-
Thats definitely the way it reads.
-
How much is that, about £25m before additional per televised match fees? With a net transfer profit of £30m it’s hard to see why they’d need the money up front. If you didnt know better you'd read that as we'd borrowed to strengthen the team well.
