it was a gamble and we lost simple as When signing up though I never contemplated that the 3rd year could see us playing in the 3rd division (bollocks to how they sell it these days!)

an unfit michael owen or fully fit Shola, no competition

Paul Brown-King the Treasurer, basically he was offered outside by one of the stewards on Saturday in the Milburn paddock just because he dared question why a young lad was kicked out just for standing up and getting behind the team. There is nothing new being announced by the NUSC we're just basically trying to get everybody to give their full support.

Is it in the 5 year plan? cos if it aint then its not gonna happen.

I agree 100%. I can think of at least five who would be more entertaining and a better all round journalist than him. A key thing I would bring to a roll like that would be direct questions, not worrying about offending people, which are absolutely vital in any free journalistic publication. Your application just went in the bin Haha, I make schoolboy errors quite often when I'm typing fast, what used to amaze me though with Alan Oliver, was the amount of times his glaring gramatical and spelling errors managed to beat the copy checkers, so you can imagine what his draft pieces looked like. Same with this Lee Ryder. Oliver used to telephone his match reports in, so you can blame (at least some) of his gramatical mistakes on the work experience child on the other end of the phone. He was the only journalist who turned up to the match without a laptop. I can only assume Ryders are written in crayon

No no, they are quite happy for you to recycle it by giving it away to big 'Arry and his associates.

Nolan ‘100%’ confident of Newcastle United survival
peasepud replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Dear Kevin, Please please please open a Bookies when you retire (hopefully soon). I promise if you do that I'll be in there every day with that kind of stupidity. -

if you knew your newcastle history you would know who malcolm was. research it and find out; sound bloke; been involved all things NUFC and NE sport for decades. a true supporter. Was also part of the original meeting that brought together the NUSC.

Anyone see any trouble yesterday? Allegedly there was some heavy handed stewarding going on and a lad got kicked out for standing up. Anyone see it or know any further on it?

Tbh if KK hadn't quit we'd be above you. Probably true, and KK is as much to blame for our current mire as Ashley and his crew, the big baby should have stuck it out, He could quite easily have fought his corner from within, and made them sack him if they didn't like it, instead he ran away. Fucking coward. The manner of his departure made it virtually impossible to find a replacement of any ability, even if our lot had a slightest clue about the game it would have been difficult, it was impossible given their lack of ability. KK must have seen that and he should have stayed on, but all he wanted was the £££'s It's a minority view but I agree that Keegan is almost as much to blame. The rights and wrongs of his job spec are one thing, but it's undeniable he left us in the shit without a second glance. What did he think would happen? If he was any old manager with no affinity with the club then I would understand more. The fact is though, he's a legend to us and should have known his actions would have had a very big negative impact on the club. It's like a mother walking out on her kids because she wasn't allowed to choose the wallpaper. I agree completely. It's totally Keegan's fault that he put the club on the market, appointed Joe Kinnear as an interim, but then not only extended his contract to the end of the season, but also put the offer of a further 2 years on the table. It's also Keegan's fault that he then failed to go out and appoint a proper manager to ensure our safety. It's also Keegan's fault that after taking the club off the market, he done nothing in the transfer window to ensure our survival, but ensured we were financially in the black though. And anything that KK wasnt at fault for must have been the fans to blame.

http://www.people.co.uk/news/news/tm_metho...-name_page.html So now we're banning journalists from the club because they report that Kinnear isnt as well as we thought he was! What next? kicked out for asking for more coffee in the press room? Jesus wept, in a time when the club needs as much good PR as it can possibly get it really does know how to shoot itself in the foot.

Whoaaaaah Chris you dont say! As for the last sentence, what the fuck is that all about?

Nearly had a fight during the match yesterday. The old bloke who sits with his wife next to me didnt make it so she must have given the ticket to someone else (Im guessing her son). Has to be the biggest tosser Ive ever had the misfortune to be near. Argued with 5 of us that it was Ryan Taylor who took the penalty! Then looked at me as if I was shit when I queried when Taylor got the afro. Sat and moaned on all game about how shit the fans were, no singing, no support nothing yet never once joined in when we sang. We bring Owen on and he shouts that hes not fit to lace Sholas boots and theres no way he should be ahead of him, then when Shola does come on and everyone else is moaning about the fact. Hes shouting on that Lovenkrands didnt move at all during the game and Stroller would have been all over the park! When I argued the opposite he reckoned I was only doing so because hes black and I wouldnt think Shola was shit if he'd been white. What a total tool.
