You want Prison Break to be recommissioned but clearly haven't bothered your arse to see Season 4? I think the woosh is on you there kidda. He clearly means that he hopes we get another programme to the quality of the ones he mentioned.

Stevie mate you are obviously a shite headhunter/ recruitment consultant cos you've never offered me a high end management position Although Ive got an idea, next time you're told to find someone to be the CEO of some FTSE100 company and they offer a salary package of £250k+ then give me a shout, take your usual 25% and pretend to do all the interviewing and shite. Then give me the role and we'll split the monthly wage down the middle for the first year.

I love this whole fucking "he should have stayed and fought the system from the inside". Just how does anyone propose he could have done that? At the end of the day he could see the way the club was being ran, shite players bought while good ones sold at the last minute. He had no say in the transfers yet would get the blame for the shit signings (see Llambias making out that Bassong was a Wise signing and Xisco a Keegan one). How exactly do you propose he could have fought that? He attempted to do what he had done successfully before ie take a gamble on the belief that Ashley had enough sense to not want to lose him, he'd done it when he first came here and we should all be thankful he did. Its well documented how that one "Keegan strop" was the catalyst for everything that came in the heady years that followed. If he hadnt walked out then and called Halls bluff then we would have just been some also ran team. As it is Ashley didnt have the sense that Keegan thought he did and rather than back the manager who he could see had the support and necessary clout in the football world he chose to back his little drinking buddy and bring this football club to its knees in the process. The gamble failed and the rest as they say is history.

Keegan walking away now and saying keep the cash mike I love the club too much would teach Ashley that he could do what he liked. I believe personally that the future of this club will be darker if KK loses than it would if he gets £8 mill.

remarkable, papers report somethings gonna happen, redheugh repeats it and some people cream themselves -
I thought when he left the first time it was because the club was about to be floated as a plc and they insisted he sign a new contract for x number of years, which he didnt want to do (fair enough). I also recall reading somewhere that it was the 7-1 thrashing of tottenham when he realised his heart wasnt quite in it anymore. Surely the reason for his second departure is well documented. He 'didn't like the direction the club was going in' was a quote I remember the first time. Well, it went into a decade of champions league and european football Kevin, but I'm sure your reason for leaving was perfectly valid. I think his reason was proven the minute we sold Ferdinand to satisfy the shareholders.

Did I miss a load of episodes from the last series? Ive got no recollection of how the Sophie, Mark, Jeremy situation came about?

Something I cant understand in all this is when people say that KK shouldnt take the money from the club hes "supposed to love". I cant remember anywhere reading or hearing him say that he "loved the club" in the way that gets portrayed. I cant remember any single game he attended as a fan, cant remember him waxing lyrically about how he "would do anything for this football club". He loved his time here theres no denying that, I well believe we would always have been his first choice to return to but he was never a fan as you and I are. For that reason alone hes entitled to every penny he gets, he took a job under a set contract, if that job didnt turn out to match the contract and he was compromised professionally then he had every right to walk out and sue them. JUst as I would have if my employer did things that were against my contract. If he was wrong then the tribunal will tell that and we'll all know it, if Fat Mike has offered a shitload of cash to make it go away then he knows hes screwed and in the wrong.

I think it was SLP who a while ago said one of the most sensible things talked about in that they should play all time added on at the end of the game not each half, that way players time wasting in the 1st half could come back to haunt them in the 2nd.
