We could just save ourselves a whole lot of bother by getting in the car, driving down to Derbyshire and doing him and his house over. Just a thought I don't think you'll find a car, minibus or coach large enough to accomodate everyone who wants to dish out a kick of two to his kidneys to be fair 10:4 good buddy We got ourselves a convoy EDIT: actually all joking aside, a large scale peaceful protest outside their houses would be more likely to succeed than anything at the match.

Who feels passionately enough about this to jack it next season?
peasepud replied to a topic in Newcastle Forum
After the debacle of my ST Id resigned myself to getting tickets as and when for games this season and then renewing again next but not anymore. Ive been to my last game under this regime. The only thing that will change that this season is if when we're desperately fighting for the points to stave off relegation, then I'll go but only by buying tickets off ST holders who cant go. Its a principle, Im not handing over my hard earned for that fat cunt to pay over to Pardew in a 4 year lumper when hes sacked. -
Did you actually read the thread before posting that you mong?

Its not even that (although that was only a year ago), its the same thing just brought back to the fore whenever they feel they should be speaking to the members. Make no mistake, this is the communication they think we've all been calling for. Now Jensen will sidle back with a smug grin thinking hes spoken to the plebs and everything is ok. I dont want to hear about grand schemes that you're making up, I dont want to know that for the next 20 years you'll sit there saying "we're almost there". We were talking to these same people over a year ago, it was the reason given why not when I attended meetings and demanded we tell the members more info. It was always "we're in delicate talks with solicitors and accountants and to give more info now would jeopardise that". I want to know what the f**k is going on with the Supporters Trust I helped to build, With the organisation that was brought together with a view to giving the fans a voice. The organisation that should be listening to its members, talking to the press and giving over the general view of NUFC fans. The organisation that should, when necessary give criticism or praise whichever is worthy of the actions. The organisation that was first thought of to bring together all the distinct and unique groups of fans, the fanzine readers, blog writers and viewers, websites such as nufc.com and forums such as this. Regardless of who owns it/ writes for it or promotes it. An organisation that should be seen to be so visible, so transparent and so clean cut in its actions that no Newcastle fan would be unhappy to have them represent them instead of randoms being interviewed outside the ground. Thats what I want to hear not this shite.

And how exactly does that happen? is this a Swindon/ Makems promotion scenario?

If that tlak was to be substantiated by fact, what would be the repercussions for him and the club? I suspect it's a pointless question I'm asking. He's going to get away with it anyway, regardless, isn't he? Im guessing here but theres probably no law against it, unlike betting on a match nobody else has lost out except us. I think this is nailed on, we used to think it when Shepherd made some decisions but Ashleys a different league to him, he'll have had mates and arseholes all over the country placing bets on both Hughton going and then Pardew replacing him. It wont be the first time either, how much do you reckon he made on Kinnear? That must have been a tidy little number as nobody even suspected he was in the running. Make no mistake about it, these are the most corrupt, disgusting duo any football club could be saddled with and slowly but surely hes going to get his pound of flesh through the likes of this, selling off of assets and then finally whats left of the club.

Difference being those cunts deserved to go.

feel free to bookmark this and hopefully pull it out in May to laugh at how wrong I was but heres my take on the shitestorm we're in. Pardew is being brought in as a Yes man, same as Kinnear was but with an overall view to sell players. Ashley could never have sold the likes of Carroll or Enrique with Hughton there because he'd made it clear that they were in his plans. Now we have a situation where theres a ready made excuse in that the new boss will want to bring in his own players and build a team around them. Players sold will be: Carroll + at least three from Enrique, Coloccini, Jonas, Harper, Krul, Barton, S. Taylor (although that ones on the cards anyway) and Nolan. to be replaced by more loans and bargain basement signings. However now we wont get a second look in from any player of note after seeing this week unfold. Beardsley will be appointed Pardews Number 2. By February we'll be 2nd bottom and will stay there to be relegated at least 3 games before end of season. Club will be put up for sale again at end of season. yet again I hope Im hideously wrong on these

I would agree with that Michael however two organisations doesnt benefit the Trust financially as much as one does. Regardless of the ifs and buts though the current problems at the Trust need to be sorted out otherwise we could end up with no Trust at all.
-
According to a very good source. The players have been discussing striking however Hughton told them they must play for the fans and one of the newer signings is regretting not listening to the numerous people that warned him not to have anything to do with the club while Ashley is in charge. I smell mass transfer requests come January.

I want to believe the Vuckic one is real

Thats another thing thats bugged me since they announced it. No reduction in admission price for members, its just plain common sense a ) you give your members the chance to buy tickets earlir and b ) reward them financially for being members. c ) give a reason for non-members to join up But to continue on with promoting this when all hell is breaking loose around you and you're not commenting on the big story is just lunacy. I wonder if they'll stop the comedians making comments towards the situation in case its seen as an official statement

I would have said no however at end of the infamous Llambias meets NUST meeting he virtually begged them to stop our boycott even though by that stage we were fairly resigned to the fact that most people were back to buying a pie n pint at half time. This is like the post KK dismal situation all over again. Supporters are united in their anger but lack the leadership to mount an effective demonstration. Only this time there isn’t the option to wrongly blame the ex-manager’s temperament. If ever there was time for NUST to stop playing it safe and try to organise something like a half time walk out on live TV, this is it. It might not see him sell up this week but it would draw huge attention to what he’s doing, see his tenure subjected to some serious media scrutiny, put him under real pressure. It would also show the watching world NUFC supporters aren’t a bunch thick northerners who are too stupid to realise when they are having the piss taken out of them. NUSC’s resolve to stand up and be counted crumbled in the wake of a few politically correct gimps getting a strop on about using the word cockney. Two years on playing it safe has proved to be the wrong decision. Ashley hasn’t learnt from his mistakes, the question is have we? Nothing will get the current board of NUST to organise protests or even come out and explain why they wont. The argument will always be that they are not a protest group but an organisation that seeks to obtain fans representation on the board. They will also attempt to state that as a Trust they cannot protest. Thats untrue, Supporters Direct said that the group should not be a protest group but protesting if required was part and parcel of being an organisation of this type. It could well be that the members overall dont see a need to protest, it could be that the majority want to see what happens next, trouble is we'll never know because NUST will never ask. At best they'll start a petition which they have no intention of actually doing anything with other than collect more email addresses and point out how they are moving closer to buying the club. The Man United Trust have it sorted, they organise effective and media savvy protests involving their members which get their message across.

Same here but I think that there is no question now after hearing the stuff yesterday. All of this has been done to give a mate a job, simple as. Theyre now going through the motions of "interviewing" when in reality it will be a game of cards and a few pints before unveiling the clueless fuck to the world.
-
Agree totally with the first para there are however times such as these where you dont need to canvass the members view because they are so clearly one view. It would be totally safe for the Trust to say that the vast majority of Newcastle fans arent happy with the current situation for instance. Part of having a democratic group is that the members trust the organisation to talk for them however there are many times when they will need to get the views of the members in order to do that.

So I attempted to find out how many members the Trust has, a simple request as per Supporters Direct rules gave me sight of the members register however because its not clear in the register who is a voting member I asked for some further numbers to be sent to me. The secretary (even though it should be his decision) passed my request to the Trust board and they refused to give out the info citing (and I quote) "they have confirmed that they are not prepared to share data with you that isn't made available to all other members." So this is where SD now falls short of its position as a governing body, there is no information on how the calling for an EGM should be managed, are we to leave it to NUST to manage and confirm when we've reached the magical 10% mark? somehow I dont think thats going to happen. Theres a "fiddle" going on in the numbers, it could well be a legitimate fiddle but its one nonetheless, affiliated members I believe are being shown on the members register along with children, neither of which are entitled to vote and therefore do not count towards the 10% figure. The 1500 members figure is way higher than the number who can vote but without having sight of something official then its impossible to do. What I asked for isnt some secret info, its stuff that should be in the public domain. I would now ask that each and every member make a request to see the register and spend a good hour or two looking at it. It wont gain anything but its your right as a member to do and it should hopefully piss off the secretary enough to get him to sort out the numbers for me. andrew.harrison@nust.org.uk give him a shout and request its carried out as per SDs rules and made available at the registered office.

Well unfortunately, it wasn't. Match pints are rarely worth the money anyway. Apologies, just checked and it was Henda

That's just a line tbh. Just an excuse for apathy. Exactly, Im not saying that boycotting is the answer btw but the club is bigger than one man and will still be here when that man has gone. If it meant 30k of us had to miss the game to ensure he went then thats the sacrifice that has to be made. I think it was you Tecato who said earlier that someone berated you for buying a pint at the Hull game, your logic was its only £3 thats not going to cause him a problem. You're right in the fact that one £3 pint isnt going to make a difference but 10k will and one person boycotting wont even register but again, 10k will. What Im trying to say is that its the principle of the matter, if we all took the logic of "my 3 quid isnt going to make a difference" then we'd get nowhere. On the same principle if everyone who bought the Band aid single had individually thought "fuck it 99p isnt going to save a life" then the world would have been a lot different.

"Peter, we've had an offer come in for you from Liverpool. We're thinking about selling you." "NO! I made a PROMISE to a little boy. Don't you make me break it!" "But Peter..." "But nothing. You listen to me and you listen good. One day when that little boy's become a man, my character is gonna be called into question. And that man is gonna remember this day and the promise I made. The promise I kept. And he's gonna go to bat for me. Don't you take that away from me. Erm.....next year's fine though if they still want me." I think hes a great bloke in person, chatty, friendly and Id never forget him as a player but thats as far as the hero worship goes, nowadays hes generally regarded as a backstabbing fucker who would sell his own granny to move up the chain. As I said in the other thread, he and Hughton didnt get on because he believed he had a divine right to be his Number 2. He was given the reserves job without CH having any say in it. Has continually licked the shit from the fat mans crack for the last 3 years to the detriment of Keegan and anyone else.

Absolutely unbelievable if he gets the job. Obviously lent Ash a monkey one day when he forgot his wallet. Keep going as we are and it'll be offered as part of the croupier of the month scheme.- 10610 replies

Back in the early days when NUSC was just a wee bairn with principles and not riddled with.... I digress. we talked about organising a one game boycott and getting people to go to non-league instead. As history shows, it didnt happen but I think it would actually be a very very good way to boycott. No bedsheets outside, no marches or protests simply thousands turning up at Spartans, Whitley Bay, Blue Star and the likes of Shankhouse (managed by me good mate Gary "Korky" Kirkup) or Gosforth Bohemians. If organised properly it would show us fans in a good light and get serious amounts of coverage.
