Agree re 5 live, they improved towards the end as the finals and athletics medals came in but for the most part it was just build up to or post mortem of 'Team GB's exploits. I drove from Leeds to Liverpool and back on the first Sunday and didn't hear a word of live commentary.

I did think that considering it was a party for the athletes it was a bit unfair that they had to wait outside for half of it. I wasn't patronising you, I was trying to he restrained in my response to a can of worms that you admit you didn't want to open and I wish you hadn't either. Then compound matters by singling out Islam over other religions in this regard.
