Sounds like you were well out if it. I must admit, it's results like Saturday's that make me glad I have to work weekends. On Saturday evening, I was transferring a critically ill patient to CT scan then frantically arranging an urgent neurosurgical review, only for him to die anyway, whilst getting ready to recive a bloke in his thirties who'd collapsed with a huge heart attack who'll probably be dead by Wednesday. But at least I didn't have to watch that shower.

They never came to clean the windows, apparently the cherry picker driver was ill. Might have been a dodgy kebab. Or dodgy cherries. Either way, WIN. Good mood, finished my run of long days, glass of wine and the girlfriend's cooking dinner.

Who the fuck do Liverpool/Rodgers think they are by dictating what the ban should be? This "punishing the man, not the incident" claptrap as well. Of course they're punishing the man. Everyone, including the FA, is fed up of this racist, cheating, dirty, nasty twat continually showing the worst part of football. Liverpool are also moaning about the ban saying it might drive him abroad and that we would all somehow suffer from this. I'd be fucking delighted if the prick fucked off. Even without his major controversies, he plays the game in the very worst sprit, and the way that puts countless people off football.

Yeah it is a cherry picker, I've had the pleasure of being woken by it once already -not with such a busy day ahead of me though. He said they've been ticketed before. As it's city centre there are parking spaces on the street - but you have to pay to use them hence the tickets.

I know. It's a really nice converted loft apartment over the road from where I work but obviously has its drawbacks. They're not even fucking dirty which is the real pisser. Spoke to the guy who cleans them - they have to start early because otherwise they get ticketed. They could pay to use the on street parking spaces but the company who owns the building are too tight to fork out for that.

Fuming, they're cleaning the windows of my block of flats at 5 in the cathcunting morning on Friday - approximately 5 hours I pick my girlfriend up from the station and 3 hours before I start the first of three 12 hour days and I'm supposed to be going out for dinner afterwards as well. Fist, you'l do something to do with windows, right? Explain yourself.

Hilarious isn't it. All there "he has let This Football Club down" nonsense at the start of the week summed them up perfectly - love to see themselves as some sort of special ambassadors to the game, full of integrity and principal, but when it comes down to it they are just as hypocritical and self interested as anybody else.
