I don't want the club owned by Captain Hyperbole. It was bad enough when Shepherd used to say we'd be 'pleasantly surprised'; this joker will probably promise to 'shake the world to its very core' every transfer window, and we'll still end up with no left-back.

Words just escape me at times, people do work for free for something they believe in, spend their time, personal funds and energy, foregoing a personal life at times (which frankly is whats happened over the last couple of weeks) and then others are just determined to have whatever pop they can regardless of how petty the pop actually is. And yes, a hug would be good at the moment seeing as how another Saturday has disappeared while I work on this Reckon that he was actually congratulating rather than saying it was undeserved... I was, but I don't blame him for being touchy. He's had constant criticism of NUSC directed at him.

They were all over the Mark Speight story. Didn't it take a while for him to be found? He'd hung himself over the weekend, and was only discovered when the cleaner came in on Monday? They'd reported him missing a while before that.

That just makes you sound contrary. "Everyone thinks he's infallible, so I'm just going to blame him, when everyone else - including outsiders - rightly sees him as the injured party." He never got the chance to make his mark on this squad, and even if he struggled on, wouldn't have been able to effect any changes. If he stayed and kept his mouth shut - I don't think he could have spoke out and carry on, imo - he would have had to take the blame for the mess the 'structure' had created. They'd already humiliated him with the promises he had made after the Milner sale.
