  2. I don't think BA (not Baracas, he would never have got on a plane, unless of course he drank some of Murdoch's doctored milk) have done anything wrong here. The rules seem to be clearly set out for her job. Silly bint...
  3. Yeh blues on a Telecaster is allways awesome, i put mine through a Fender Pro Juniour and thats the best guitar sound out there for blues, well under a £1500 budget anyway, Have you got the double disc version? Yeah. All the monlogue bits were canny... the first time around...
  4. Yep T-Keith, it's the Sin-e one. Amazing guitar solo too. Yeah hallelujah is class too Brock, but I suggest you get hold a copy of the Sin-e session he did. First thing I heard from him. Basically, JB and a telecaster killing it. Gotta say, "Lover you should've come over" live is top draw...
  5. Strange Fruit - Jeff Buckley Southern trees bear a strange fruit Blood on the leaves and blood at the root Black bodies swingin' in the Southern breeze Strange fruit hangin' from the poplar trees Pastoral scene of the gallant South The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth Scent of magnolia, sweet and fresh Then the sudden smell of burning flesh Here is the fruit for the crows to pluck For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck For the sun to rot, for the tree to drop Here is a strange and bitter crop Wikipedia - Strange Fruit Worth 5 minutes of anyone's time...
  6. Exactly. I think what people mean is that culture in Britain changes. A hundred years ago, people in this country would go on holiday IN this country. Now? Millions go abroad every year. Is this people losing their culture, or is this culture changing? I would like to know what part of people's culture they think they are losing...
  7. Any cop? Have been hovering over the "Add to cart" button the last couple of times I've been to Amazon. I'm not a huge fan of Tom Waits tbh. Every so often I fancy hearing someone with a grizzled voice, but I can never usually last a full album of his. No change with this one. Canny tunes but I got bored and turned it off after 4 or so. Sounded exactly the same as what I've heard from him before. Fair enough. Sounds like I'll love it then.
  8. Christians actually fared a lot better under Saddam than many religions, and there's a canny few christian churches over there and plenty of christians in government (Saddams foreign minister was christian, for example) Unbelievable Look at Enoch Powell with his Ipod shuffle! Ahead of his time TBH according to wikipedia he got 100% in an english exam - Swat-tastic. Don't you mean swastika-tastic...
  9. Purchased! Cheers for the recommendation... Right, off to the The Edukators...
  10. I'd have to say Zane Lowe. Just for the simple fact that he seems to play everything that he wants to play. Other "DJ's" are just celebrity sell-outs who play any old tosh who's idea of a laugh is "carry-on-bumming-inuendo-double-entendre-jokes". P.S. The only time I listen to radio 1 is in the car when my iPod runs out of juice... P.P.S. Kill Chris Moyles...
  11. I really don't understand why people have a problem about what kind of clothes people wear... No-one had a problem with Parker jackets zipped up to the hilt...
  12. jesusdressup.com Wonder if there's an Allah one...
  13. said "this" rather than "his" but still made me laugh...
  14. Is becoming like CF talking to himself on the interbracket...
  15. I don't see the link with that one like.... Neither do I, but it's DEFINATELY the correct answer... Howay man, it's Friday! If it was DEFINITELY the correct answer I might use it! DEFINOTELY then...
