butt was probably (at the time) the best player in his position alongside makalele at the time. makes total sense. bit of a fall from grace though after that like.

Bit harsh on a 19 year old. Especially when he played a lot of the game on his own up front. He does seem to lack finishing ability though - which I hope he can sort out soon. A loan would be a good a move. we need him to play far better than that though. someone needs to tell him he's playing in the premier league. and that the jobs not done until the final whistle. having said that against liverpool he was the difference between the 2 sides. a bit more consistency and a couple of goals by the end of the season and he should be ok.

Shola's the 2nd best striker at the club tbh. I know he's not very good (that's me being polite) but I'd rather see Best, Xisco and Lovenkrands shipped out first because they're all inferior. that is all too true. Best was hilarious against wigan. pub player tbh. for some reason (and against all better instinct) i still think lovenkrands will do a job for us. probably because of his speed over the ground. though even thats fading now....
