  1. a high defensive line against 2 quick centre forwards and collo still nursing a thigh injury, perch nursing a brain injury...... tactics were dreadful....
  2. negrito, is different to nigger from what i remember. that is apparently what he called him, apparently negrito is a hispanic term of endearment. i'm not sure of any of this, all i've heard are scurrilous rumours and hearsay. just so you know.
  3. i'm on as @philbar72 leazes. ta.

  5. it was good but not great, too much sombre music and staring in to the middle distance for my liking. thought the 2 leads were good but that thomas turgoose is a fucktard, can only play himself ( a needy boss eyed teenager).
  6. a wide right player that can pass and cross, a centre back that is ggod enough, and an orthodox left back ( we've been rumoured to be interested in erik pieters ( the PSV left back).
  7. kasabian are music by the numbers though. great live, i will admit....
  8. possibly, and you are right about the samplefest, it is a little overkill. but in my view its one of my top 5 albums of this year. such is my limited taste!

  11. aren't we forgetting a few things here. we are at home and we can expose their weaknesses. that being: 1) their defensive game is shit, boswinga is terrible defensively, we need to get at them down the left. 2) their defense in the middle is terrible, terrys too slow and david luiz is too inept positionally. cole is slowing up down the left. 3 they really only have the defensive midfielder Romeu in the squad, ask any of the people about Mikel ,and they will say he is terrible. if either are playing we need to pressurise them. i really think if we get an early goal, we can default to our counter attacking play that seems to cause so many sides a lot of trouble.
  12. As much as Ashley and Llambias need to get out of this city, I'd rather have Cabaye, Marveaux, Santon and Ba, than Carroll, Nolan, Barton and Enrique for differing reasons like. Those four that left brought in £46m and the four that came in cost £9m, and they're better players in my eyes. I don't think it's about the money spent or brought in but more to do with the ability of the players concerned. Spot on tbh, although Santon over Enrique? I'd rather have both like true that. just hope they start playing santon soon, presume he's fit to play?
  13. Happy Birthday! have a grand day!
  14. Mark Cavendish should win it, had a phenomenal year.
  15. class player, was excellent at depor as well back in the day, took a bit of a while to get accustomed to the premiership (err about 2 years)..., but is back to his best.
  16. ben arfa isn't known for his tracking back ability. both wide players put in a shift offensively and defensively. thats why they are in the team. i think that his pace causes big problems for other teams but his lack of awareness and inability to pick a decent cross or pass doesn't help him.
  17. that probably just means we'll get more for him.... if we sell.
  18. Still think Cabaye will prove to be no better than Nolan? Not sure if serious or not. Cabaye = Pele x Beckenbauer x Zico. Nolan = Lampard + more pies. in a shopmobility trolley, with a part flat battery.
  19. something like 57 million a year Steve, the Glazers interest debt loaded on to Man utd. this http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2011/oct/21/manchester-united-manchester-city?INTCMP=SRCH
  20. well. you know what i mean. Ruel fucking fox. jesus wept.
  21. how the fuck is he anything like ruel fox apart from in terms of height. fox was a jobbing winger. david silva is a world cup winning attacking midfielder who is playing the best football i've seen anyone play in his position, for years (and yes that includes fabregas).....
