hes not good, but without cover i don't think we have much better as backup. he'll do till the summer when we can maybe upgrade our reserves?

players like him are to be applauded. he's as we all know a championship mid table class centre back or full back. he has however proved to be a steady eddie in defensive midfield, and as others have stated, he shows he is tactically disciplined and adept at the bread and butter stuff in that role. he's a good squad player. fair play to him.

tiote will not leave until the summer if at all, by then we'll have another player lined up. the cogs keep whirring.... this side is looking fantastic compared to some of the post 2004 dross we've all had to endure....

the new lad offers a hell of a lot that carroll doesn't. mobility, technique and confidence. we sold a 8m player for 35 mil. thats fucking good business.

I know Louise Taylor gets a lot of vitriol on here, but she is capable of writing more than one coherent sentence in a row, which is far more than Lee Ryder can manage. think lee ryder struggles to get more than 3 words out correctly..... on a good day.

another thing about him, and england. if he goes there i'm unsure he'll get anymore out of the players than capello. i reckon he'd be another steve mclaren, tactically naieve and out classed by the better coaches in world football. his record against the bigger sides bears this out. he pretty much always gets rinsed out by the likes of fergie mourinho, mancini, wenger in our league.... he's a chequebook manager that has bankrupted (virtually) 2 teams. its only because spurs really have a load of cash, that he can't sink them. odious man.

he's got a bit of everything, mobility, pace, technique and movement. good hold up play, dribbling and work rate. finishing with either foot or his head is good enough. to be fair there isn't much missing.

i'd take any of those. january will be rather tense.... we lose 2 of our best players.... could see a slide into mid table..

he reminds me of someone i used to play football with when i was younger. as sorts of touches, stepovers, and pointless tricks and no end product. he's created 3 goals this season,butit could have been so many more if he could pass the ball correctly. he could have set up even more as paul robinson is a terrible full back. he's up against enrique next and i think he'll (enrique) take him to the cleaners.
