anyone here use this site (transfer Markt)

seems it does fall flat on a few numbers but overall it does give a view that would sometimes make me pretty incredulous. As Steve says henderson is clearly worth nowhere near as much as Cheik... but these are based on a few variables, not just perception based numbers. I think its a pretty canny resource... -

i don't think keegan deserves to be anywhere near the manager award. failure and lack of tactical awareness cost him. was great fun when he was here first time around though. also redknapp doesn't deserve to ba up there at all. 3 great managers in the premier league... Ferguson Wenger and Mourinho.

Shane Ferguson tearing apart international opposition
tinofbeans replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
looks like he's pretty fearless but is actually too lightweight. needs to bulk up a bit and not get bullied. -
something like a corrado would be a much better investment. you can rebuild them relatively cheaply and use them as a day to day car.
-
he's a 25k a week player at best and whilst quite good defensively, (note not great), he's dogshit going forward. santon would be a better option. he's far better pushing on and is defensively far better.
-
Ben Arfa's goal against blackburn. fantastic. Ba and his sublime strike against Man utd. Cisse's second against swansea ( or pretty much any of his goals!).
-
gets better and better. he's still a little showy sometimes but he is creating havoc and that is a good thing.
-
some serious deficiencies there.... we defended stoutly but plan A didn't exist let alone B.... good goal by ben arfa followed by him repeatedly giving the ball away! not really good enough but i expected us to lose by more. RVP is a terrible egotist....not good for advertising football at all.
-
good half. but why don't guttierez and ben arfa just pass the ball a bit better....
-
it also means that our full backs need to practise their crossing. santon needs to go to right back and we need to find a good all rounder at left back. ben arfa needs to be included more and should have freedom down the right to cause havoc. thats at home. away we need more solidity... so ryan taylor or the mekon down the right, each has their virtues, taylor has decent but not great dead ball delivery, obertan has speed....

we need better than simpson at right back, i'm afraid. he's a good player but makes too many individual errors for us to go about getting 6th or 5th in the league. him and williamson are good enough squad players but long term aren't good enough first teamers. -
he has talent, thats certainly true, but its the self destruct button that seemingly has hit me pressed very hard into it with him that makes him a player some love to hate. i think he's brilliant. But completely mental!

a peter serafinowicz podcast. fucking funny.

true that. analogue synths and drum machines are what i did a short while back. found a cr-78 drum machine and sold it on for £480, had a moog synth i restored and sold it for double bubble. just taken a 303 off a friend for £400, will make sure its working, tart it up and flog it for £1200....

Same here, surprised how well he's adapted to his more advanced role. Unreal that 9 of Barca's starting XI tonight were home grown. he's always been able to play advanced from a midfield pivot position. his spatial awareness is phenomenal.

Am i right in thinking that Alex ferguson would absolutely never coach England. he's not really an anglophile!
-
something that has been rarely covered, his times at madrid and roma. he is a serial winner. but the team have to bend to his whim. englands players weren't used to that and some paid the price. the football his teams played was often ultra defensive and dour but with milan he had several worldclass players, whereas with england he had tactically undisciplined, non caring egotists.
