If an infinite number of footballers sat at one group of typewriters and an infinite number of monkeys at another. My money would be on the primates.

Henrik Larsson. What do I win? Other than making you look like a penis. And don't come back with "He's not a first team player" because he's better than anything we've got so being a first team player is irrelevant. or we had any chance of getting So you're adding conditions after someone answers your question now? "....or isn't Swedish." "....or didn't used to have dreadlocks." Fact is that when people point at who has moved in the window and go "See! There's not that many players available", it is bollocks. The players that do move aren't the only ones that can move. It's not like there's a finite amount available and once they're shared out that's your finish. In Roeder's two transfer windows we have managed to sign: - A loanee that barely got a game - A left back that's yet to get a game - An attacking midfielder (Sibierski) that shouldn't get a game - he's not good enough regardless of his purple patch earlier in the season And Duff, Martins and Onyewu, all of whom the jury is still out on to verying degrees. One centre half (on loan) and no full backs to speak of, despite the fact that it's blatantly obvious that the back 4 needs a complete overhaul. Not good enough. I think you might find there is a finite amount

to think how many peopl back then still thought we were big time a few people finally woken up and smelt the coffee tbh Can I ask do you think we are no longer big time and it doesn't matter what we do we will never be again? Or do you think we aren't big time and it is going to take a lot to get us back there?

What are you Babeling on about -
Used to be a lad in my regiment who if 2 short planks could chat they would call him thick. So we called him a Mong. After a couple of months of everyone doing this we were ordered to stop. So we started calling him Lloyd (loid as it shoud have been spelled) for Monga loid. It took him 6 months to twig this and we eventually got ordered to not call him this either. So we called him Stiller (as in still a fucking mongaloid). he never twigged this one.

Strange that Andrew isn't wearing his uniform seeing as he served in conflict conditions.

When the smoking ban kicks in down south you will find it much easier. Me and the wife used to have the odd cigarette when out but since we more advanced Scottish people have had a ban on smoking it has been much easier not to. -
I did no homework as a kid. That is not an exageration. I was an angry young man angry at the teachers for striking angry at the government for what it was doing to the miners lots of stuff. I got no schooling really worthy of the name. I came out with nothing and ended up a soldier. One of the reasons for not doing homework was my extremely low boredom threshold and the crap way I was taught. There has to be a middle ground. I am loathe to put too much stress on children. Childhood is such a short period of time anyway and should be used for social learning rather than educational. And children should be allowed to enjoy being children without the stress of an education of success or failure. Homework should kick in as set homework at about 12 at the oldest. Before then parents should be encouraged to assist learning at home. Of course parents should be encouraged to take responsibility for their children as well (a bigger bug bear of mine than homework).

Talladega nights and the black Dahlia. Not bad on both nothing exceptional. Will Ferrell should make a more well structured and written comedy like Old school again. he is well talented but just giving him a character his mates and pointing a camera at him doesn't bring out the best in him in my opinion. -
Austria and Prussia had over many years been in conflict over the territories of Schleswig Holstein in what was Danish territory. Austria wished to maintain it’s place of prominence in the German confederation. Bismarck had designs on Annexing the states . Bismarck saw the area of Danzig and the naval base of Kiel as strategically important to Prussian dominance . Matters started to deteriorate in earnest when King Frederick of Denmark died in 1863 . Prince Christian of Glűcksburg became King. The next Day Frederick of Augustenberg proclaimed himself duke of Schleswig Holstein and claimed the Duchy an independent state . The Diet of the German confederation along with Austria wanted recognition for this. Bismarck did not. Going against the whole of the Diet, he manoeuvred against this. Firstly he ensured through diplomacy that France and Russia would not become involved in any war with Austria. Prussia then invaded Schleswig Holstein and ordered the Austrian troops to depart. Much to Bismarck’s annoyance they did so. However shortly after Italy mobilised with the Prussian promise to uphold it’s claims on Venetia. With Austria mobilised Prussia offered an ultimatum to Saxony, Hanover and Hesse Cassel. These were not satisfactorily answered . On the 16th of June 1866 Prussia invaded. “Contemporaries expected a long war ending in Austrian supremacy” . They were wrong within 7 weeks it was all over. With the decisive battle of the war taking place at Koniggratz (Sadowa)

So you pricked the yokes well?

Wolfgang, everyone knows that Hamburg was part of Denmark until 150 years ago! I may be wrong but I believe you're confusing it with the port of Kiel which was at the heart of Bismarck's Schleswig-Holstein campaign against Austria.

You should have asked my dad There was bother outside the Tree early on actually. Sounds like mebbes it was the same scallies cos there were police all over the place. They must have just migrated down to Chevs. I was down the Tree until about half 8ish and I didn't see any bother, like. The owner really missed a trick with this tickets only thing. I know they usually do it every year but he got 400 printed then decided to only sell 200 of them. I heard it was dead pretty much all night? It wasn't dead but it was nowhere near as heaving as it normally would be of a new year. Canny night actually with me fatha and some mates. You were probably there when we got in actually. He would have been the emo slitting his wrists in the corner next to the toilets. I was in the plough one new years eve and saw one lass glass another. The police came the ambulance came after it was pretty silent so I stood up and shouted "Happy new year washington".
