Anybody heard of a band called goodbooks.

I love the Eagle books very good historically. Me too until the 6th one, got very silly and characters became shallow. Sadly nowhere near the consistency of Cornwell. Try Conn Igguldens Emperor series absolutely fantastic (first one shows he's a new writer - the writting style - but he hits his stride towards the end of it and the rest are excellent) The most historically unaccurate set of books I have ever read. I just couldn't finish them they were so wide of the mark.

I know it's petty but I believe Rupert Murdoch to be the devil and his family his demon minions so could never get Sky directly and when I see a fox movie I go on Orange wednesday and neither me or my wife are with orange so there!!

Way too much negativity on here. We played better than we have for a while. Butt was worse player by a country mile. Barton is a centre mid and was unable to stay on the wing. owen was to stagnant for way too much of the game. But we passed better than we have in ages we had shots on target and we looked like we wanted to create which is more than we had under BSA.

Can some of the people saying he was gash poiint out when. He was very solid yesterday. Butt was the player who gave the ball away most.

We wont get relegated there are too many worse teams below us. We have had a shitty week but we start again Sunday. Alves will not score 3 on his debut in a rough league in crappy weather. When we get our people back from ACN or ANC or whatever the hell they call it we will be a bit stronger and can start putting in better performances. We only have to come above Derby, Wigan, Sunderland, Boro, Fulham, Bolton et al and none of them besides Boro have bought huge quality in the window and Bolton let their best player go. Also let us not forget Alves is from the same place as Dirk Kuyt & Vennegoor of Hesselink who were both amazing strikers there.

Standard procedure, pilot takes off, co-pilot lands. There isn't any skill difference between the two positions, and in this case when they only had 40 seconds, the man in current control takes the lead in a crisis I would have thought. not so - taking off is MUCH easier than landing it's the difference between starting from a traffic light (rev up and Warp Factor 9) - and stopping at a precise line at a red light they swop so that the #2 pilot gets experience - and they have to do so many takoffs and landings in a month to keep their licence current Looking at the published details it looks as if they decided to accept they were going to land short - which was a lot better than trying to stretch the glide and stalling in Did you have a co pilot in your sopwith camel Rob?
