I think he does in some ways. But he wants to keep a certain foot in the door via either some % or via advertising rights. Basically he wants to have his cake and eat it the fat shit eating cunt. -
We stayed in Bormio very close to it. Day we did it we did the Umbrail pass and then the Stelvio. A nice 100km ride. But in that 100km you do well over 3000m of climbing. I was fucking roasting too. I got to just over 2400m and had serious issues. I bangged two gels down and virtually a full 750ml bottle and still only just made it to the top without dabbing. Got to the top, had 3 espressos and a massive slab of cake and only then did I feel I could cope with the 20 minute descent The Umbrail I did in 1h 40 and descended in fucking 20mins man, madness.

Aye, amazing, and we did it both ways That week we did the Stelvio, Umbarail Gavia and Mortirolo which are the iconic Giro climbs. Stelvio is fucking something else. I was in a dark dark place the last 5km of it. We also did the Bernina, Cancano which is in this years Giro, Forcolo and the Foscagno. What a stunning area to be in.

I would love to do the Pyrenees one. When I was in Italy last year we cycled up from Tirano and then dropped into Switerland and then back over to Italy via the Bernin Pass.
