  1. Bielsa was like Rafa to us in terms of he doesn't just understand Leeds as a club and their history, but he gets the city. He is often seen just sat about Wetherby having a coffee and always has time for fans. He lives in very modest house in Wetherby. He is a socialist and goes beyond football. He will be missed in the city. Last night pissed up my sister was texting me. Saying he's a legend and bigger than Keegan because he's done a lot out of England She soon shut up when I pointed what Keegan did in Germany. A few Leeds managers got close to getting Leeds in the Prem and failed in play offs so Bielsa got Leeds promoted at a time they had Philips etc coming through. I get he is seen as a great for taking Leeds back up to the Prem after 17 years of being out, but his stubbornness to work with a small squad and not change tactics when players are injured to me is mad and not a genius he is seen as.
  2. One thing about Leeds etc, they've been in a relegation scrap before. Frank Lampard's Everton haven't to my knowledge and that could be key.
  3. Buzzing had a 100/1 ew bet come in and used my 5 footy bet #teamgemmill
  4. Aye mathematically still possible for them. But think they're down.
  5. Watching the build up to Southampton v Norwich. They have just highlighted how Southampton players are going down in the 60th minute or so and then showing other players going to get Gels drinks and a talk from Hussencuntal. What a sly bastard.
  6. Taken from .com The Magpies are back in Premier League action on Saturday, returning to London for a second successive weekend. Their destination this time is the Brentford Community Stadium, facing the Bees in an old-fashioned, non-UK televised 3pm start. Debuting at that venue in a 0-1 League Cup loss last season behind closed doors, this will be our maiden visit with a crowd. It's also a new PL ground for Newcastle, becoming the 59th different venue that we've played at in that competition. United go into the game looking to extend their unbeaten PL run to seven games - achieving that would be our best run of form in the top flight since in 2011. NUFC: Kieran Trippier, Matt Ritchie and Callum Wilson remain unavailable but Javier Manquillo has returned to training. while the fitness of Ryan Fraser and Allan Saint-Maximin is tbc, but the Frenchman looks unlikely to return, amid claims that he's back in his homeland for treatment on a troublesome calf problem. BFC: Ivan Toney looks unlikely to return from injury to face his former side, but there could be a competitive Bees debut for Christian Eriksen. The Dane last faced Newcastle when he was a second half substitute for Spurs in our 1-0 victory at their new ground in 2019. Mathias Jensen and Julian Jeanvier are sidelined due to injury, but Mathias Jorgensen and Tarique Fosu both played in a behind closed doors game on Monday. Since beating Aston Villa 2-1 at home in early January, the Bees have taken just one point from a possible 21. On home ground this season, Brentford have won four times, drawn twice and lost the other seven. Referee: Mike Dean - third time this season that we've encountered the Wirral whistler, following the 1-1 home draw with Leeds United and 1-3 loss at Liverpool.
  7. Interesting read. Bruce wouldn't have had the time for Willock. He would have been too busy trying to get home than thinking about his players.
  8. In RL if you fail a head assessment you're out for a min of 11 days. One of tje rhino's players tonight took a right hit. The game was stopped for almost 10 minutes.
  9. That doesn't sound good. But surly they're not mad enough to do anything with it?
