I totally agree with you regarding the goals and the size of the pitch. But unfortunately you will get comparisons to the men in that regards. In cycling the men race well over the distance the women do and there's always talk of why they don't increase the women's to the men's. Its because they simply don't have the strength in depth in the field as the men. If they did it would make really shit racing. Play to the strength of the women and it will make it massive.
