No I just think after our win v PSG the media got way too excited. We got a draw v West Ham when we looked poor first half. Then rightly fucked Palace. Then it was the first Dortmund game. We got beat 1-0 yet the media were all 'ooo noocarstle brought down to earth' etc. We were beaten by an established top level CL team. Not by some mid table Premier League team. It showed total lack of respect towards Dortmund and total lack of respect towards us. We have never gone out and dick waved about going out and smashing any team, let alone Dortmund. The media keep going on about group of death, yet there is a tone in their way about us having a right battle to get out of it. Well we know that. We as fans, I would like to think have always kept our feet on the ground. Aye there's always one or two dick heads who get excited.

That's because he's no played many minutes It does sound harsh because of the goals he's scored, but I agree with Sammy. When he's had to lead the line this season, the majority he's struggled to have in impact. Is that the way we play? Someone like Fish will be able to tell us that. I am not that savvy on stuff like that. But he's scoring so like G said. Lets not bin him off, but certainly a great option off the bench.

Like you I love him (Albeit less than Wor Lass 🙄) but I am not sure he suits our style of play. That sounds mad considering he's scored 7 in the Prem this season. But he's only played 2 games of 90 minutes this season. Is that Howe managing him so he can play more games a season? I would say yes, but when your squad is down to the bare bones then we need someone who can play the full 90.

When we lost the first game the next day the media gave fuck all respect to Dortmund. It was all about us being brought back down to earth. Back in our box etc. Last two games v an established CL side who are class we have held our own for large periods and not embarrassed ourselves at all. For that I'm proud. We cannot ask for more.

Over the two legs IMO against a pure class opposition we haven't been that far off. At this level small margins make big differences and the strength in depth has cost us. IMO Isak stays on in the first leg we do better. Wilson, meh, it's hard to say considering the goals he's got for us this season, but IMO he's better off the bench. Tino great tonight for us.
