Normal conveyance or a right to be pissed off?
wykikitoon replied to wykikitoon's topic in General Chat
This thing is starting to concern me now. Maybe somebody can shed light on it. The Person at the end of the chain asked for a move date of 21st of Feb. We have all agreed that this is acceptable except for the FTB. Apparently, we are all now awaiting for the FTB to agree and pay his deposit to get the ball moving. Our solicitor is apparently chasing a date and exchange on a daily basis now but the FTB solicitor is not taking calls are returning them. We are now worried that the FTB cant pay the deposit. Surly the FTB shouldnt of got this far down the process without having a deposit? -

From the little I have seen on BArfa of late I would question it too. BUT I would say he has the attributes and the way Rapey is using him, he isnt getting the best out of him. -

we've got 5 or 6 players that are good enough for Newcastle United, if it were up to me that is. Some players good enough for CL but not good enough Newcastle? Krul, Colo, S Taylor, Santon, Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Ba are definites. Cisse and Jonas (based on international pedigree) are tbd. Not seen anything of Cisse so cant pass comment. However Jonas I would say should be a definate. The slower game would suit him more tbh. -
Went there a couple of years ago and didnt once step in the Red Light district and had a fantastic time. Amsterdam is a huge place and its not all about that area you know. Some fascinating history and architecture there. First time I went we went to the RLD and I hated it tbh. I dont take drugs and wasnt impressed with the guys coming up to us every few seconds asking if we wanted "weed, E, acid blah blah" I felt uncomfortable and didnt like it at all. It was the day the princess of the Netherlands was getting married so the place was RAMMED and I was very hungover from the ferry too which didnt help

Agree on the whole, but on this particular occasion I think that's a bit harsh. He'll get off on the evidence (or lack of it). In fact, it's worth bearing in mind he's been charged with the offence precisely because he's a footballer (ie there are few other scenarios where there'd be that level of scrutiny/footage, if it was an ordinary bloke on the street it would have come to nothing) so he's actually been held to a higher standard of probity. Not saying that makes him a victim, because equally its that same higher level of scrutiny (ie live commercial football) that has made him a multi millionaire and as such it's fair enough, I'm just saying those are the facts and that's the complete context. Aye. Why though has it gone to court and gone this far if there isnt enough evidence? Like whats been said, maybe there is other evidence other than whats on youtube, i.e witness on the pitch etc.
