I dont work directly with GIS, I am a Structural Engineer, however we do have GIS data come in on survey stuff we get. With the speed that BIM (Building Information Modelling) is gathering, and tying that to stuff like GIS with your knoweledge of the GIS software you should be ok. In terms of £ etc I wouldnt know though.

I have seen some right cath words on motor bikes recently, the worse was yesterday. Coming back from Reeth, we were joining the A1 at Catterick, 6 bikes come flying down the slip road, undertake us whilst crossing the solid white line, i.e off the road and then undertook a car towing a caravan in exactly the same way, i.e off the road, just as they were about to join the motorway, idiots man. I loved the WBA v Bin Dippers score, then oddschecker threw some odds out for the Premiership, then I became confused. Newcastle finished above Liverpool last season, correct? Newcastle start the season with a win over Spurs a team vying for a top 4 finish, correct? Newcastle have strengthened their squad, correct? Liverpool finished below Newcastle last season, Correct? Liverpool get beat 3-0 by a relegation candidate, correct? Liverpool have a weaker squad than the toon, correct? So why are Liverpool 40/1 for the league and Newcastle 125/1 (Odds from oddschecker and will be the shortest odds)?
