  1. Looks like a Peado in that cap anyways. Loads saying he was odds on to be first manager 'sacked' on 5Live last night. As he wasnt actually sacked, would they pay out?
  2. When is Brucie getting pulled?
  3. Good luck mate, you're not down and out yet lad, we shall see you back on here soon hopefully. All the best.

    Totally brain washed
  6. Aye, thats another thing I look for when buying fruit and veg in the supermarket. Its all bloody South African or the like!
  7. I also support local charities. I give any unwanted clothes to them and I also help out at my local charities.
  8. Went to see the Inbetweeners 2 yesterday. Was good. Still prefer the series though over the films.
  9. When it comes to buying stuff, do you just jump on the net (where possible) and get it for the ease, or do you try and use local shops and services where possible? I don't mean popping down to the Tesco Express either. I have stopped buying meat at the supermarket as we have a great local Butchers. Some of the meat is more expensive, but the majority its cheaper and its great meat. The service you get is more personal and last week, they chucked in a couple of 'freebies'. I am trying to do this with all my shopping, however we don't have a decent greengrocers near us, so that's a shame, but we do have a good bakers and get my bread and stuff from there. Last year a cycle shop opened and since then I have tried stopping getting stuff off the net at shops like Wiggle etc and use them. I want a new set of brakes. On the net I can get them for £120, local bike shop, however its £210. Now thats a big difference, but then again, that's with them fitting them, bleeding them etc (I can do myself) so its a job less I have to do and I get a satisfaction knowing I am supporting local business. One other area I have cut down on and hoping to stop altogether, is Amazon. I do not like their approach to business and zero hour contracts. Anyone else do similar?
  10. Canny, will have a look at that one. Just finishing Emma Oreilly's book. Its a good read, but a frustrating one at that. Saying how she is a clean swanny, yet her actions say otherwise.
  11. Read that yesterday, interesting reading. Shame they are not as transparent on the rest of their workings. Shame with a massive budget like that they dont have a womens team. Well, thats not a shame, its a disgrace.
  12. Aye What is pissing me off more is, I am one of only two in the office (both in his team) who hasnt had their appraisals done. In the past I have not been too arsed about appraisals, especially when its a load of form filling, for form filling sakes. But because he spends so much time either on the phone to his slack arsed wife, or doing other little pissy jobs its really grating on me. He is a cath word end of really.
  13. I am doing my job and yes I push for that. But its also good to have a chat about things and see how I am doing.
  14. Set my goals, see how I am doing in my role, improve myself, and when it comes to salary etc.
  15. Anyone here work in HR? We, like most companies have appraisals every year. The lad who does mine is fucking useless. I sent my appraisal stuff to him (standard stuff on goals etc) last August and still not had my appraisal. He is fucking useless at organising stuff and prioritising stuff. I have this morning, requested he isnt involved in it and I want someone else to do it. Fucked off about it as he spends hours on the phone to his stupid bint about bollocks, or doing things which arent a priority. It would only take an hour FFS!
