  1. if we had a manager spending big money on players, i'd expect to see results sooner rather than later. if we had a manager carefully building a squad and set out a long term plan for success, i'd be prepared to give him time. We've got neither indeed mate... i reckon we're stuck with that greasy, arse-licking cunt Kinnear for the long-haul. You reckon? I think he's a goner. Literally if he stays, figuratively if he does the sensible thing aye, ashley thinks the cunt is better than capello.

  4. that's hardly a glowing endorsement considering the resources he had available... a few relegation battles previously under keegan and pearce, a new owner hoys in a huge transfer kitty, brings in a new manager and they do better than previously. hardly surprising, is it?... for the amount of money eriksson spent, you'd certainly expect city to have maintained the progress they made in the first part of the season. overall their season was pretty underwhelming in my opinion , and the second part of the season seemed to fade and invenitably drag apart from the man utd double. they had some fucking rank performances, especially the 8-1 defeat to Boro and 3-2 at home to fulham. for what it's worth, i thought he did very well with england and would have been pleased to see him replace roeder once he left england. however, after seeing what he did with city - which was nothing special in the end - and is now stuttering his way through his time at mexico via a few unconvincing wins, i certainly wouldn't consider him unless he makes a notable turnaround with mexico or does well in another job. the fact he's on the verge of the sack with mexico speaks volumes... i think if ashley is determined to stick to this youth policy he's installed , then i think we should consider a young manager who is not influenced by money. i'd personally give darren ferguson a crack , whether or not he'd want to work with the fuckpig we have in charge and the DoF malarkey is another scenario... yes, he might end up being another paul ince, and if he is, then it wouldn't cost a bomb to fire him off unlike it would for eriksson. unfortunetly however, i think we'll end up with kinnear on a full time basis or a flakey spanish manager who is used to having players bought for him over to you...
  5. Compared to who? Roeder? Allardyce? Souness? Kinnear? U. J. Cobley? eriksson did shite at city. spent big and had a fucking awful second half of the season. for the amount of money he spent city should have maintained the progress they made in the first half of the season.... and he's not doing too clever with mexico, either. a few games away from the sack apparently.. His record is better than pretty much anyone we've had here except Robson...but you think we should aim a bit higher.....? i'm not doubting his credentials, just think he's gone way downhill since the england job.

Aye and city are doing so much better now that they fucked him off that's because they've appointed a manager who is out of his depth.
