Mate of mine has bought it and says the licences are mental, I'm steering clear (see what I did there) as i lost so much time with the lastone
  3. Mr and a couple of lads from working are about to start an online game, although we are going with lower league teams (div1) we played FM2010 with teams from the Bundesliga 2 If you play with to high a league then it turns into a cock fight to get the wonderkids everyone already knows about
  4. He's like a fucking cart horse! I suppose we shouldn't be suprised with the size of the cunt. It's like It's a Knockout with him and Saylor at the back fucking lol
  5. I'd be made up for him if he got that job. Same. I reckon he'd do a quality job as well now that they have a bit of money to spend. so would I, and would be even better if he took smith, perch and best from us :icon_lol:
  6. Jonas has looked disinterested for awhile now, get shot if possible arfa on a perm and a new striker, although i thought ranger looked useful against the bin dippers, someone quick to run onto the flick ons from carroll
  7. couple of tips for you then, use Vukic, the boy comes good, hes averaging 8.6 for playing for me in an AMC position and sets up lots of goals, diamond, get lukaku on a loan for a season defend deep away from home, away games in FM 2011 are hard to get a result, I'm currently at the start of my 3rd season (9 games in) and lying in 2nd place, I've done very little in the transfer market and playing pretty good football atm
  8. why did you resign? I was 7th in me first season which was amazing with a pathetic £1.5m to spend, got a few loans in, team playing well lots of draws but just two defeats and Carroll scored 14 in 11 games 7.89 average. Chelsea bid £22m for him, and the board wouldn't let me refuse it, so that was it, mugs. Charlton just offered me a job though I'm getting fucking annoyed with this game, 2nd season sat in 11th place, jjust can't seem to get the reults, neither carool, ranger or lakuku are scoring, its getting on my tits
  9. Side Show bob picks up a red in nearly everygame he plays in, I've had to drop him because of it, Wilson is playing poorly most games and I've just been humped 5-1 by bolton, infuriating
  10. fuck sake i log into the stream as the pen is struck
  11. I Noticed you have all the team logos on your screen, I don't have those on mine, is that a skin package you've downloaded or is it an option within the game?
  12. I did it with an earlier FM, you all join a created network game and then the day progression is controlled by the host, during matches we used the 2D engine and had it on high speed there was 4 of us who used to play it together and if i remember correctly we used to get about 6 league games in a night (playing for 3 hours)
  13. welcome to hard mode, i've managed 3 games so far without having someone sent off, had 3 sent off against bolton (Side Show Bob, wilson and Spidy)
  14. Good work Sir, I would be interested to see your backroom team, your training routine and your tactics if you would take screen dumps? In mine, Andy Carroll has just broken taylors jaw in a "collision" during training, Fat Sam has been sacked by Blackburn and I humped the Mackems at Stadium of Shite
  15. i that a new patch released today then? what version you on?
  16. Matty Can you upload your tactics? what training schedules you using? I've just got humped 6-0 by Aston Villa and morale is rock bottom, I'm 18th in the league and cant seem to get the players to play
  17. Thats the same line i play and i'm starting to turn the season round, 1 place above relegation but have just beaten liverpool at SJP and drawn to wigan to make my last 4 games WWWD 2 points from 14th
  18. THIS! Its unreal how many times my players have been sent off. Here are the stats: Coloccini: 3 reds, 3 yellows, 17 appearances Tiote: 2 reds, 3 yellows, 13 appearances STaylor: 2 reds, 2 yellows, 13 appearances Vuckic, Carroll, Simpson, Williamson, and Ben Arfa all have one red. Totally unrealistic that, I've also been given 8 penalties on the year, which is also quite a bit. Granted I've only converted 4 of the 8, but for that I blame Shola Seems to have calmed down post-patch but yeah it was ludicrous. It was basically every other game. I'm fucked, lying in 18th, I was just 1-0 up at blackburn and ended getting tonked 4-1 what team instructions do you guys usually go with?
  19. Had a meh pre season, few loses, few wins, first 3 games in league where draws, conceding at the end, seems that NUFC players dont know the meaning of man-marking or pressing 13 players injured, jonas out for 5 months with dislocated shoulder, have bought several young players 18/19, have hired 3 new coaches to concentrate on areas i was weak in (have 4 or more stars in most areas) barton and tiote are wank
  20. That shows quality right there, you have a Manager whos highlighted a flaw in the opposition team and we have the quality of player to put a 35yard cross into a 2foot window for the big man to get onto the end of and they've worked on it all week Speaks volumes of the coaching team to identify it and the playing team to say "yeah sounds good, lets work on it" then to have the confidence to do it in the match and it to come off I've always felt with Newcastle (even since KK days) that the guys would run out, round some cones, through some poles and its job done, here and now it feels like the Coaching staff already know the flaws in the other teams and the day after the last game they are working with the players to take advantage of these flaws
  21. You've sort of countered your own argument though. It's not really like everyday life and if we're not careful we could lose a valuable asset in Hughton. That's why people are banging on about it. Supposing he gets a better offer and leaves, do you think we'll get that lucky a 2nd time round? Personally I don't agree he should get a 5 year deal on much better money than he's on now but at the same time I think waiting until the summer is a dangerous game to play. No reason why we can't have some middle ground, say give him a 12-24 month extension on what he's got now on a bit more salary-wise too. I dont think i have countered my arguement, I was trying to point out that Ashley as a businessman (who did very very well for himself) wont go and hand out 5 year contracts woth millions of pounds until CH proves that he has done what he was asked to do I like both Ashleys and Your thinking, I dont want to see CH walk out anymore than anyone else, however, if he gets us relegated would you want him to hang round? maybes not, lets say he gets us into Europe, is there a chance he may walk? probably. To that end, if i was Mike I would drag CH in, in January, take a look at the table, see what CH wants to do with players and then throw a 12month extension at him. When the summer comes, if we are down, its only 6 months to pay him off, if we are in europe then we can put a really good deal together and if we end up mid table, then I would probably offer him a 12 month rolling contract to come into effect the day the previous contract expires He's already offered Hughton a contract though, just obviously not a very good one as he turned it down. So I don't think he's thinking much beyond 'how much money can I save?' which is madness really when you look at the bigger picture. CH is on £5k a week and we were supposedly losing 5x that amount last season due to relegation. JFK was on a canny bit more than that too iirc. How insulting must that be to CH btw? I take your points on board about if we go down, you wouldn't want him to hang around. You have to take a bit of a chance with players and managers though and you have to give them a bit of backing/show some faith in them if you want them to stick around. He's the no. 1 reason we're doing much better than we all thought we would. Ahh I didnt realise that Chris had knocked an offer back already, thats pretty fucking ropey of Fat Mike then as it would of been a shite offering, i was trying to see the positives in both camps but that kinda blows anything from the fat lad out the water, pity
