Has anyone managed to get their face in the game yet? The thing still tells me it is down - any ideas when it will be available again?

You know I never actually realised that was a Nick Drake cover I love Nick Drakes stuff as well. As I said, the album introduced me to Iron and Wine. He is such a talented guy, and I was amazed that his voice sounds equally as perfect as it does on CD even when recorded on a small camera in a lift: Such a change from hearing some bands/artists that are so much worse singing live than they are on CD with all the equipment there to make them sound good.

Got two great songs from these. One is this one ft. Feist: The other is 'Deep Blue Sea' on the same album. If you are in to this sort of stuff, Parky, then I strongly recommend the 'Dark was the Night' album. It is a brilliant compilation album, and one that introduced me to Iron & Wine (my new favourite artist!)

I seem to concede the randomest of goals because of the stupid 'keeper AI. Like against Reading, their striker headed it towards the goal but it bounced twice and was moving very slowly in general. For some reason Harper decides to full on dive for it and the ball bobbles under him. Had the same thing at the other end, though, where Guitierrez headed it and their keepers OTT dive sent it into the back of the net.

Does anyone else find that the 'keepers AI is appalling? They seem far too slow to respond, and sometimes the ball is slowly bouncing towards the side of the goal, and rather than go and easily pick it up the 'keeper does some crazy dive in an attempt to punch it away as it rolls out of play. I have noticed there are a lot of stupid mistakes that the 'keepers make that you wouldn't really see in real life.

Definitely try the Gingerbread at Grasmere. I love the stuff, and when pieces of it 'accidentally' break at work I'm happy to be the recipient! I've not really had too much experience of the Lake District bearing in mind it's under an hours drive away from me, but I did have a great time at Conniston a few years back.

I really thought they would have stepped up efforts to stop quitters or at least punish them more this year. I mean, mustn't the top guys at FIFA play their own game and get annoyed when people quit on them? I'm not sure what they could do, because at the end of the day people can just turn off their consoles, but there must be some sort of implication they could put in that would reduce the amount of people quitting.

Hurrah! My first quitter in Fifa10. Had just gone 6-1 up as At. Madrid against Barcelona and he quit. Some things just never change!

Anyone else finding the game a little too easy? I'm on World Class difficulty (should really move up to Legendary, I suppose), and just find that I am winning matches really easy. The calibre of online players seems to be poor, too, although I have only played two people. I was surprised to see that no one quit, though, which is a bonus. Even when I was beating Man City 6-1 with At. Madrid the guy stayed to the end.

Won 4-2 in my first league game. Was losing 2-1 until they got a man sent off and then Lovenkrands got a couple before Ranger completed the win. Ranger and LuaLua are great in terms of pace and I think I prefer him up front to Carroll.

In terms of price matching, shops won't match online prices. I incess used the barcode scanner on my phone to try and wangle a deal, but the manager or the shop basically said that he won't match anything online because they don't have to worry about renting the shop and things like that. Anyway, I'm hoping to get home soon and finally give this a go! Any recomendations for who to buy for us on MM?

Got it! For them games I somehow got £38, and then I had £2.50 on my reward card so practically got it for free!

Yeah, the ASDA lady said that the new stock would probably be full price. I have EA Skate, Fallout 3, W@W, Assasains Creed, Rockstar TT and Fifa 09 that I could trade in, but a couple don't have the booklets.

Was it me or did the commentators keep referring to the keeper as this Adriano guy who wasn't actually playing?
