    Just watching MOTD now. Wow. What a performance! Ba was absolutely brilliant as always. We will miss him so much - his bit of skill where he beat Giggs then got fouled was absolutely stunning, and his goal as well...Tiote looked great again as well, but unfortunately just in time for him to go off to ACN. Going to be a difficult few games without them!

    Until now I have hated all those questioning Pardews decisions, as I had thought they had been okay, but tonight just really showed him up. Vuckic contributed very little, and the token Ben Arfa substitution just came too late. Why Santon didn't start either is bemusing. After going 2-1 down we should have just gone for it - stick Shola up there or something, I don't know, but you've got to give it a go. Pointless bringing on Sammy when he did, and he proved useless - but not quite as useless as Obertan managed to be in the rest of the game. Wasn't expecting to win, but also wasn't expecting such a lacklustre performance.

    It's simple enough - provide the chances for Ba and he will put them away. But in that same respect, if opponents can take him out the game then we're fucked. Just as fucked as we will be when he is taken out of our game for the ACN.

    Santon on. For Raylor I assume? Good move - can hopefully free up Jonas going forward.

    I mean, realistically we are at a ground that we always struggle at. I think most were expecting a loss before kick-off, so I don't see the harm in at least giving it a little bit of a go and stick Ben Arfa on to give us that little bit more in attack. I know it might mean we are one short in defending when Liverpool break, but sometimes you just have to take the risk. Ben Arfa is the sort of player who can make something out of nothing, and aside from a lucky goal we have contributed next to nothing as it stands. Feed the Ba and he will score.

    Can't really complain at the score but we have been shit mostly. Luckily the Anfield crowd are evidently getting a bit annoyed at the lack of goals which can only help us I guess. Just need someone to link up the play to Ba, and we all know that person is Ben Arfa.

    Basic Fifa stuff - lofted balls are often worthless on a wet pitch.

    Everyone just seems a little phased by the (brilliant) atmosphere. Need someone to put their foot on the ball to link the midfield with Ba.
