  1. I think my main wish for Fifa 13 is for Cabaye to have his beautiful face in the game.
  2. Saw a lot of the first series but didn't catch the new one the other night. Really like him as a comic and really enjoyed the first series. Going to iPlayer it later in the week!
  3. Given my thoughts at the start of the season, I will be absolutely chuffed to just finish in a European spot. That said, with the recent run of form and the position we find ourselves in, I can't say I won't be disappointed at not getting a CL spot. Whatever happens, this season belongs to us. We have been a different class throughout, and in all honesty I don't want it to end. Just hope it isn't a flash in the pan season and we can build from here to become regular challengers for the top four.
  4. Didn't realise we have a game in hand over Arsenal as well! What an exciting finish to the season!
  5. Had to go out at half time but what a performance that half was! And now I see QPR are one up against Spurs! Today could turn out to be a very very good day!
  6. Ben Arfa takes the piss out of Palacios
  7. QPR grabbing a win later isn't too far out the question. Spurs aren't in the best form and QPR have something to play for...
  8. Papiss loves it! Great goal! Cabaye is loving life after French week!
  9. There are so many Photoshops to be done here that I don't even know where to start!
  10. What have I made up? And I'm not saying you do read the Daily Mail, just giving an example of some of the shit they like to publish. Also, what exactly always starts somewhere?
  11. That gay rights means forcing 6-year-olds to be transvestites, basically. not quite, I asked if people think it would encourage them to show their feminine side and have a more balanced outlook later in life, having watched programmes like the tellytubbies carrying handbags ? So what do people think ? Regardless of what happens, I think those who have some sort of pre-disposition to being more feminine will end up showing their feminine side anyway. I think all it could encourage would be acceptance, both acceptance of others and acceptance of self. It is about education. We aren't all of a sudden going to turn into a nation of feminine boys because of introducing gay rights and what have you into schools (although recently this whole 'metrosexual' thing seems to have bloomed in popularity), just a nation who is more accepting of those with different sexualities. EDIT: And before you go all Daily Mail on me: I am not suggesting that this will all of a sudden mean that it is acceptable to marry your pet/toaster/fridge e.t.c..
  12. That gay rights means forcing 6-year-olds to be transvestites, basically. A lot of parents seemingly think that teaching gay rights in schools will turn their children...what a ridiculous thought! Introducing the idea of gay relationships into sex education, or any other class for that matter, can only help. The kids that do turn out gay will feel less alienated and less as if they are doing something 'wrong', and the other kids who will lead their straight lives will hopefully be educated enough not to hold a prejudice. Ridiculous to think that there will be any negative repercussions of it.
  13. Why shouldn't it? People have gone through a lot just to get gay rights even talked about, and now that we are finally in an age where the majority accept it it would be wrong for people to feel as if they can't 'flaunt' it. Although it depends what you mean by 'flaunt'. Are you out right suggesting that a gay person should not be open about their sexuality unless directly questioned? Or are you more pointing to those who choose to express themselves in an outwardly camp and feminine manner? And I don't know what you mean by having discipline in life. Just because someone enjoys the company of men and likes to show that in some way doesn't mean that they don't necessarily have discipline. Didn't see the comment about schoolkids, sorry. What was it you said?
  14. I've nowt against them, but I don't think it should be flaunted so openly. Each to their own, but I don't really want to know and I don't want some fucker approaching me and making it obvious, which has happened as it has with you. Fucking hell, man So you can be gay, but you've got to be straight acting and make sure that you aren't making it too obvious that you are gay? If you don't get on with people who are overly camp then fair enough, but that is their choice of how they choose to show their sexuality. Do you have an issue with 'lads' lusting over girls that walk by? It is just two ends of the spectrum - you get some who want to show off their 'straightness' by being super macho and heterosexual and some who want to show off their feminine side and as such come across super camp. People should be able to express their sexuality as they like. Not saying that I don't always find 'super camp' annoying, but I would find it more annoying if they felt the need to try and tone it down because others are prejudice against them because of their 'in your face' sexuality.
  15. Of course it is natural. Still dumbfounds me that people genuinely believe there is something else to it... Also amazes me how much people feel the need to make it be known that they have an issue with it. If you don't agree with, say, Gay Marriage, then don't get Gay Married. Simples.
  16. One of the journos on Twitter was saying something about a surprise change to the line-up...
  17. Ah okay, fair enough. Still, it looks good.
  18. just making a point. Don't make accusations that aren't true, or is it different for you ? Have you kissed Mike Ashley or Dekka's arse yet ? Well, I suppose that is at least a little bit on topic...
  19. As much as it has become much more accepted, I am still dumbfounded by the outdated views some people still have. Some woman in one of my lectures the other day just couldn't fathom at all how one man could fall in love with another. She actually seemed proud to call herself a homophobe and was spouting out the usual bullshit about it is wrong and it isn't natural blah blah blah. Normally with people like that there is a religious reason behind their views, but she wasn't a Christian either. Unfortunately she was impossible to argue with, and instead I ended up getting unnaturally angry. For the record, I think the above article is in response to this in the Daily Mail: ....oh wait. Just as I went to find the article I realise it has been taken down. There was a mini-facebook campaign to report it to the PCC, which appears to have worked.
  20. Just seen this: Being made by the guys who did Skyrim. Looks promising!
  21. Well played Ramires there.
  22. Would love to see if there any stats for how long Drogba spends on the deck. EDIT: Right on cue..."Drogba goes down in a heap"
  23. The fucking AI on this game...Was just playing online and I slide in with Danny Simpson and win the ball. In the process, Collocini gets knocked to the floor, then Williamson runs in to get it and falls over as well, leaving the guys second striker with a clear run on goal...
