He sounds like a cunt.

Absolutely maddening that they'll reign in Wise for Kinnear but wouldn't for Keegan. I'm more inclined to believe some of the rumours than I was last year I must say. I took most of the stuff I read last summer to be groundless shit-stirring, but the general consensus about growing tensions between Wise and Keegan (among other things) turned out to be pretty accurate. I'm having this story because I so much want it to be true - the Wise bit anyway
-
...which is just about the only good news we've had all season. And somewhat soured by the suggestion that Kinnear will get the gig

He's had fitness issues for a while now, didn't he fall out with Sammy Lee over this issue? I can only see him going down the Damian Duff route now, unfit with the footballing equivelent of a pensioner by the age of 28. Wouldn't surprise me. I've already come across more than one anecdotal account of his fondness for chucking lager down his neck. Plus he looks like a pisshead which is enough for me if he's shite

Blasphemer! Surely our DoF system in which our owner has 100% confidence must run like a well-oiled machine

It was quite telling that most of the Bolton fans seemed glad to be shot of Nolan, and that (as you say) he'd been nothing special at all for two seasons. Several said he'd go through the motions much of the time, but pop up with the odd goal which bought him credit. He doesn't look as fit as he should be to me, which is a bad sign in a player of his age. He could knuckle down of course but I doubt Kinnear, who has a reputation for being lax when it comes to his players' fitness, is the right manager for a lad like Nolan.
-
Aye Barton/Guthrie would be my first choice pair as well. No doubt Nolan will get picked ahead of Guthrie though.
-
Apart from a few decent games when Keegan changed things at the back end of last season Barton's done very little for us so far like. Yet I'd make him a certain starter in CM with evrybody fit, which just goes to show how average our squad is really.
-
The spoilt modern footballer riles with most fans I reckon. I think you'd be seeing an entirely different spirit at the club though if Keegan had had these players all season. You saw signs at he back end of last season and the beginning of this that he had them enjoying their football, and that makes a hell of a difference. I'm not excusing players not putting a shift in but there's no doubt this season's turmoil and our current managerless state has affected the players. Mind you that said there are some who just want fucking putting down. I think Viduka, for example, is a professional disgrace. I've noticed Duff simply not bother to track back plenty times this season, and Shola is also becoming a lazy twat. I have my suspicions about Nolan as well but it's early days so I'll hold off on that one for now

That chicken foetus story man

Man Ure fans were 'divine-righters' when Liverpool were winning everything and Liverpool fans are now that Man Ure win everything tbh. Simple as. It stems from the fact they do actually win things often/regularly enough to make this a genuinely held belief-ie it is a self-fulfilling prophecy. They're spoilt in other words. Oh I remember well enough the days of Liverpool's dominance. We didn't have forums in those days though I still think they're out on their own when it comes to mawkishness and slush, though it does at least often make very amusing reading.

What is it about the Dippers and these interminably long-winded posts? I've only skim-read that fucker but he might as well have just typed out VICTIM in a huge font and left it at that. Stupid cunts.
-
*takes off shoes* Seriously though, I can't think about the club without feeling outraged at Ashley and his fuckwit crew for what they're doing to us. The whole experience of supporting NUFC is being ruined by these cunts, and I deeply resent it.

Fuller quotes: If by 'fighting' he means dithering for weeks on end with a stand-in manager who can't cope while we drop points week after week, then I suppose it's fair comment. It doesn't half feel like we're going down without a fight to me like. And I shudder to think what the 'restructured' version of the plan will look like. As the current one patently isn't working, wouldn't it be better to have an entirely new one?
-
Bollocks story. If we go down I've got no doubt whatsoever Ashley will be looking for a net profit on transfers this summer window. It's a knocking bet he'll try to offset as much of the revenue loss relegation brings by further savings on the cost of running the first team. He'll shift some of the high wage/low return players which is obviously a good thing, but he'll also sell the few good players we've got left if there's interest. And we'll be lucky if we get a £4mil striker to replace Owen, Martins and Viduka never mind a 'keeper we don't need.
-
A bit more in the Ronnie's version of this, including the quote: They're not even trying to hide the fact that Wise runs the show anymore.

A profitable week's arse-licking that was mind.

Gay ref definitely needs to be in this thread. Never fails to amuse me this

Kinnear comeback put back to Liverpool (A)
Big Onion replied to smoggeordie's topic in Newcastle Forum
Llambias's tone when talking about Kinnear has for some reason reminded me of Wemmick and his 'Aged Parent' in Great Expectations. I mean fucking hell, it's almost as if he's reached the second childhood stage -
Mike Ashley 'is the man' to fix Newcastle United
Big Onion replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
The article's no more than a vehicle for a few retaliatory digs at Whelan, with a bit of pathetically unconvincing excuse-making for the mess Ashley's making of the club tagged on. The whole thing's little more than a childish spat between two blokes who don't like each other. Pair of stupid cunts. -
If, like Mike Ashley you enjoy a gamble, what price a flutter that he's turned us into a team that can only win one in five games so he can lay us on Betfair. ...while asking the fans to have a flutter on reaching Europe to stop the odds sliding too much. He'll get a hell of a price for us to win the league/CL in 2012 (or is it 2014, I'm not clear on that one )
-
100% confident despite as much evidence as you like to the contrary. Reminds me of Llambias on relegation the other week: Pure bluster, based on absolutely nothing but blind hope and wishful thinking. They'll struggle to push us towards promotion next season if they think hot air is going to blow us up the table. Fucking clowns man.
-
No need to fix our games to make money. Lay Newcastle every game this season = very tidy profit

He was a cracking little player for us but lest we forget:
