Larsson is a good player better all round than boyd. im just making the point that boyd isnt as bad as you make out as if he stays will break larssons record within the year. Boyd is a top quality goalscorer in a bad league

Gutted to be honest if by goes, just a goalscorer, scores all kinds of goals, headers,6 yard box,penaltys,free kicks,long range strikes, volleys, you name it hes scored it. 20 goals in rangers last 21 games, 24 goals off henrik larssons all time celtic league record and hes only around 24 and for 3 million is a fuckin steal + to up above what are you on about 30 goals in all competitions ? Not as well as alot of Rangers will tell you. His goal against Celtic has managed to deflect alot of critism away from him. I expected a lot more from him as he's only managed to shine in a handful of games... Most of which were the games when he first joined. Though in fairness a lot of that may be down to who he is playing with in midfield... his form coincidently dipped when Ferguson came back in to the team. When he had Thomson in beside him he was given a lead role to get the ball moving... He was the creative spark and Thomson was our dig and drive. Now that Ferguson is in there we have 2 players who are very similar, in effect canceling each other out. Rather than 2 midfielders having a good game its 1 or the other, or at worst both play crap. Hence why alot of Rangers fan are desperate for Newcastle to take Ferguson I wouldn't say were desperate tbh the criticism barry gets is way over the top IMO and thats only cus hes the shaddow of his fromer self, he still is our captain and a very very important player for our title hopes but if the offer was right and a 100% of the money was reinvested in buying a new centre back and a winger I think it would be acceptable to sell. But it wont happen.

Yous definetly wont get mendes on loan and for a buy youd probaly be looking at 6-7 million and with im being a key player for our title chase i seriously doubt a deal. But hes still far over rated and only shows glimpses of brilliance now and then, only controls matches at ibrox but never fancies it at your tough away games on a cold night when you really need him, he does have a brilliant touch and great passing and can score from any distance. In my eyes and others I know the best midfeilder in our side is Kevin Thomson who was a absoloute bargain from hibs at 2 million but hes out for the season so would be pretty pointless in trying, but the best player you could get from us is thommo.

The sectarian problem is getting better its not what it once was and now the atmosphere at some games has went with it.

The money the Old Firm would generate from our world wide fanbase would be massive, rangers would be more interesting for a investment, we would be able to attract the right type of players because its hard to convince a player to play in the spl, you get about £2 mill for winning the Spl and you get £30 mill for getting relegated from the Epl its very hard to compete with that. Rangers and Celtic would be challenging top 4 in about 5-7 years

I take it you mean "he hasn't"? I don't want to turn this into a defense of BF because I can't stomach the wee chav bastard but he had a few good seasons and one "great" one. He is no longer good enough for the Prem, far less Newcastle. At any rate I can't see this transfer happening. When BF went to Blackburn he played a "Sectarian" card to justify moving (His kids getting abuse etc) then worked his ticket so hard at Blackburn (I want to get buried in my Rangers top and other such insincerities) that the circus surrounding the man would probably render it unworthwhile for all involved. Mcgeadys pish only does his 'world' class performances against the likes of falkirk,aberdeen and killmarnock but when it comes to the big european games hes only played well twice, once against benfica and the other against a 10 man villireal side who had already qualified and hes a cocky wee bastard aswel who thinks hes a big man which is why he gets the shit kicked out him in glasgow night clubs every weekend night, hes always the victim though in the scottish press! even though he never presses charges ... wonder why that is

Barry Ferguson wont leave rangers hes already made that mistake before and wont again though england must be the only country where you can come to a new league and after 6 months become captain and then be branded a failurea year later when you leave .
