  2. I would hazzaed a guess that some of their caravans are nicer than some folk's homes!!!
  3. success ish!!!! Delicious served with Doritos sour cream And the other days roasted veg lasagne (which looks mingin'ish but was tasty)
  4. Me too ££££££££££££££££ It was on US keyboard setting?????
  5. Now onto my fourth go and about to give up. Cant get the fucking thing to cook all the way through and keep ending up with under cooked or burnt taties. Have tried various different times and temp combos. This time I have par boiled it first and its currently in the oven. If this fails its a pub tea!!! (which is ok)
  6. The sun nine pound holidays start tomorrow. Before you turn your nose up, you can basically get a nice caravan in some nice locations which can add a few extra holidays to the calender year. I've used them a lot as a family and there canny if a few lads or lasses want a cheap "head down". Every April we use this to go to the lake district for a four night midweek break. The park is in grange over sands, about 8 miles drive from Windermere so you are pretty close for some great days out. They start from #9.50 a person but the minimum fee is #39 which is what it usually costs us. They have parks all over the country, france, spain and Italy. (Being to the montpellier one a few times which is nice and hot) http://www.haven.com/parks/index.aspx Even if you cant bring yourself to buy the sun to get the free tokens, others do and then sell them on Ebay in about 10 days time for a tenner. Deffo a way to get some extra breaks in and if you have kids even better.
  7. surely all the new fat fuckers make you gym worshippers look the pick of the bunch? ie the old insecure gorgeous girl who goes out with the dog of a mate.
  8. Off work a bit at the mo with all this snow compacted on estates so keeping the other half happy with a bit of cooking which I am really starting to enjoy. Never really cooked much before. Anyway Wednesday I made Roasted vegetable Lasagne. Tasted delicious using Ragu white sauce and various vegetables. Thursday i went with Chicken Chasseur for seven people served with charlotte potatoes and savoy cabbage. Altogether cost a tenner and was the easiest thing I think I've ever made. Chuch it all in a roasting dish / casserole dish and 90 minutes later a delicious meal. (Use colmans chasseur mix). Today I am having a go at hasselback potatoes but not too sure what to serve with them. Possibly just a big dollop of sour cream and a large helping of creamy colesaw. Again these are looking easy to make. Slice a big baking potatoe almost to the bottom at 4mm intervals. Insert sliced garlic between each slice. Drizzle with olive oil, season to taste with sea salt, black pepper and basil and then bang in the oven for anything between an hour or hour and twenty depending on oven. Might just sprinkle with parmesan as well. Disclaimer: pictures Not my actual dishes --- Imagine crisper and blacker Fuck me! As i was typing the disclaimer bit I noticed the room was starting to stink and there was a bluey smoking type haze developing. Looked around and the whole downstairs was full of smoke coming from the kitchen. Hasselback taties take two coming soon.
  9. Asda also have a sharpe blu ray player in the sale. Its says 89 on the website but im sure it was on for 79 in Boldon yesterday. Could be wrong tho. http://direct.asda.com/Sharp-BD-HP21H-Blu-...default,pd.html
  10. All these snow flakes are like the Polish. Millions of them will settle overnight and prevent thousands of British people going to work.
  11. Variation of this received last night, that goes like this:- The MET Office has issued a severe weather warning, after a young woman was seen putting a coat on in the Bigg Market. Its meant to be bad taste lads...... AA Weather Warning. If you have to travel, make sure you take a spade and a flask. That way, if you get stuck, the spade can push while you drink your tea.
  12. Thanks for those two suggestions but there a touch arty / fancy for what im after. Im sure they do nice food but im after straight forward food cooked exellently. For example, have a butchers at this restaurant (one of my favourites but its in cardiff http://www.le-monde.co.uk/ Dover sole, great steaks etc etc all chosen individually by the customer from a display counter and then cooked for you in an open kitchen. Is there anything of this quality / style in the North East
  13. If anyones being watching the F word they will have seen the south american guy in the semi final doing stakes to die for on the grill. Is there anywhere local that does similar stuff well. Me and the wife are also getting sick of paying pretty decent prices for shite and would like to pay that little bit more and find some class local acts.
  14. Boldon Asda is brilliant and sells all sorts of stuff apart from food. Last year in held the walmart record worldwide for the most takings in one day. As far as food quality goes like most middle class supermarkets they have their cheapo range , their normal range and their extra special range. (worth trying the extra special two lamb shanks on the bone in rosemary / mint or garlic gravy that take 7 minutes in the microwave and are delicious, particulary with chunky chips). Marksys do do some nice food but nothing imo worth paying the silly prices.
  15. That Lasagne looks like quite a lot fannying around. Just use mince and a tine of toms ffs!! Roasted Vegetables Lasagne!!!!
  16. Im sure Jamies stuff tastes ok but he doesnt half make a meal of his recipes Was trying to find a nice roasted vegetable lasagne recipe today and just reading his fannying around recipe with "look at me" ingredients put me off. Anyway, made this http://fortheloveofcooking-recipes.blogspo...le-lasagna.html Young mom of two has this website full of what look like fantastic know fuss recipes that are easy to do and delicious. http://fortheloveofcooking-recipes.blogspot.com/ She also likes to cook naked and the site includes many tasteful poses of this dark haired stunner.
  17. Yes you can and yes you did! Congratulations to you both, I trust you've already being to St James to start him on his journey of despair and heartbreak.
  18. I would welcome anyone who may breathe some life into this team. I know we are top and have won games but fuck me we are still a pretty awful team in a dreadful league. All our midfielders are dreadful so anything that offers a change should be welcomed. Whats also happened to Lua Lua? Why cant he replace Jonas and be given a chance.
  19. and if you park on top of tarn hawes and walk down the waterfall path you'll end up at the cottage from the film where they serve the most delicious lamb sandwhiches. It's from a special breed of lamb that they breed there and the couple who run it have many a long yarn to spin about when Hollywood came to town. Currently my favourite place in the lakes.
  20. Ok, I'll be the old fucker to ask what hawt stands for....
  21. Could of turned over that new leaf yesterday I'll go for Newcastle and Leeds
  22. Seriously, quiting cigarettes is a piece of piss. Get on a program at the GP, get the FREE patches on and change some of your potential danger zones for a few weeks and you will be sorted. 30 years at 30-40 a day and dont miss them at all these days. Now if only I could quit the pipe
  23. I will try to remember to put anti freeze in my taxi next year
  24. Man City and MK Dons both won didn't they? So they did Congratulations Ewerk
  25. Not trying to be a sore loser... But as we both had one winner and one loser, isnt it a draw
