you were on about spraying your seed everywhere last night. I thought it may have been because i uploaded this allotment picture by mistake, clearly showing my imprisonment of small children.

Where do you all sit in St James and whats the atmosphere like?

Brilliant that. I always wonder if they actually need the conductor there or if its just a bit of an ego trip. Surely they perform the piece exactly the same each time. I must also say that I actually cant stand local hero. -
Its funny, the first thing you do is try and recall what you said and who you've upset

Woke up to an account suspension this morning. Just me or others????
-
Cheers for that. Most of what I've read says the same.....Its all about soil prep. As for an unfulfilled interest, take my advice and get your name on the local waiting list now if you havent already done so.

what do you mean by "big things". Playing in europe ? The last time we did this, people moaned about signing "trophy players", debts, and spouted on about "being embarrassed" including booing the team when they finished 5th. Leazes, do you actually still enjoy being a fan? Do you go to matches? I think everyone on this board knows where you are coming from but the past is the past and now is now. Somebody was rattling on today about the good old days when you could go out and have your choice of jobs. Yes it was better than today buts is still gone, its history. I have said many a time that the likes of me 40's will never again experience the ride that we had under Keegan. Coming for a stand point of little expectation to playing in the champions league. I can harp on about those days til the cows come home but if I dont move on and live in the here and now, how could I ever enjoy being a fan again.

As you will see the place was in quite a state when we got it and the firs priority was getting rid of the rubble and weeds. In the last few weeks we have got some raised beds in and are intending to have a lawned area for the kids to play and have some barbecues. Although it looks a mess, the site is in a gorgeous position and is bordered by some lovely big trees etc We were lucy enough to have a greenhouse already there and a shed that we managed to salvage. We are also making a diy polytunnel out of scaffolding poles and Blue water pipe to grow lots of peppers, courgettes, Grapes etc. Down there tomorrow so I will add some of the "after pics".

This will be my first proper year and Im really looking forward to getting stuck in. I dug up the back lawn and then got an allotment towards the end of summer so the winter has really seen us trying to get the place in shape ready for spring. (And four eggs a day from the chickens ) Going to post a few pics

pardon my ignorance, but what the heck is an allotment? you need permission to grow veg? An allotment is an "allotment" of land alloted to the working man. The land is usually owned by the local council or the church. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allotment_(gardening)

This is the same for the majority of prem clubs. As we saw last year and again this year, once you get outside the top 9 or so it is rollercoaster stuff where all season is relegation avoidance. There is no money out there to buy clubs so Ashleys only solution is to build the club up both on the field and off it whether he likes it or not. The more succesful he can make it, the more chance of getting more for it when he does sell. This can only be good for Newcastle.

Well its that time of the year again and my new batch of seeds have just arrived and are germinating as I type. My choice this year is; Bean Chereoke Trail of Tears Beetroot Albino White Broccoli Purple Sprouting Cabbage Savoy Perfection Cauliflower Romanesco Ottobrino Carrots Royal Chantenay Courgettes Bianca de Trieste Cucumbers Marketmore 76 Lettuce Mix Mange Tout Oregon Sugar Pod Peas Climbing Telephone Raddish Mixed Easter Egg Sweet Peppers Yollo Wonder Sweet Peppers Banana Sweet Corn Dolce Carrots Cosmic Purple Courgettes Zuchini Yellow Cucumbers Crystal Lemon Lettuce Iceberg Great Lakes 118 Lettuce Little Gem Peas Petoi Pois Waverix Tomatoes Tigerella Have found a cracking supplier on Ebay whose prices are amazing and he lists some very good vatieties. Delivers in 2-3 days. This year we are trying some of the more unusual stuff that you wont find in the supermarket. Purple Carrots Crystal Lemon Cucumbers Tigerella Tomatoes http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Premier-Seed...634Q2ec0Q2em322 Also looking to get some 1 year old Asparagus crowns in the ground. Reccomended a variety called Connovers Colossal. Also asda are selling chitting potatoes now so got a bag of Marus Pipers and a bag of Juilienne. Finally a couple of Giant Sunflowers for the nipper.

You and your lass make a nice couple tbf, I dont see why people should find that funny

The positive side of this for me is that the "debt" is Ashleys and not various loans etc. I think we are more secure owing the money to him than the banks. The big danger on the horizon is that a Barry Moat comes along and takes on some of that Debt. While some of the figures being bandied around seem large, in reality they are chicken feed to Ashley and will become even more insignifigant as his empire strikes back after the recession.

How old are you?? 16?? Thought it was time to have a little bumpy so the guilty pessimistics amongst you can see the error of your ways. Well called Mr A This league is anything but a piece of piss. Interestingly however, if you look at that post, hes only really right on us walking the league (so far)..... 3 of those named dont get a game, while all but one arent good enough for next season. Guthrie is borderline and could be a squad player imho. Amazingly, we score 6 and our "main striker" doesnt get a look in, Im not even sure he had a shot yesterday. Carroll is finished at this club once he goes down. As for Stroller, well history will tell his story. Nuff said. Just as the opposition are so poor they're letting us walk the league, so are they making our players look to be world beaters when in reality, none of them will have the top 6 banging down our door. We are going to be promoted but then the fun is over. Fuck off sour grape man -

Wonder if come the possible promotion match whether Ashley will lay on the free scarfes, cow horns etc to try and get a decent party atmosphere going. Personally I think the atmosphere has been shit for longer than I care to remember. I have had season tickets in level 7 family and Bar 1892 and really little difference in terms of noise. Family full of young uns playing on DS's and 1892 full of old men. Since giving up the season ticket I have had a bit sit elsewhere but find 1892 the right distance and height too watch the game. Always preferred to have a side view than an end view. -
We'll not get into how you came across that but
