The problem is quite a lot don't want to be embraced. This is where the problems fester on both sides. Personally I think if you choose to live in another country you should make every effort to intergrate but that does not mean giving up your roots ie football team. If I decided to move to Spain I would want my whole family to learn the language and attend a Spanish school so they could intergrate into their new surroundings very quickly.

Makes sense to me if your trying to introdareas more realistic wage structure. They are not just saying a pay cut, they are saying a pay cut and a longer deal. Some of the older players might find this extension attractive. These are players that may well be passed it in the prem anyway. I think this will be the summer where for a lot of clubs, realism, pay cuts and smaller transfer fees kicks in.

That positive outlook didn't last long. Wouldn't have thought you'd be so supportive off Mike this last few weeks if you don't think ANY of his January signings are close to good enough. you misunderstand January was about getting us promoted. My memory was that colochini started really well last season and was one of our more consistent players until half / two thirds of the way through the season when he dropped a couple of clangers and was dropped. His confidence and performances hit rock bottom afterwards.

Thats the best bit I think you've ever written I would love to see him have the balls to come out and do a proper interview and be honest about now and the future. With regard to season tickets, I was lucky enough to be able to cancel the three year deal, but a bit of honest ambition during the summer would get me back.

It's not a case of comparing regimes pud, it's a case of some of us would just like leazes to acknowledge that it had already turned to slime under shepherd. Leazes's view is almost that we were competing in the champions league until Ashley took over. We all know the football was better under keegan and sir bobby and we all know that things have got worse during ashleys tenure. It would just be nice for leazes once to acknowledge how things actually were so this tedious argument could be put to bed and not dragged up every week.

Get into the small print that is the only way you can be sure. If its a healthy tree that suddenly gets blown over you are probably okay. If its an old rotten tree thats been on the way for a while then you probably wont be. But the small print is the key.

Scoring a hat-ful of goals doesn't make you a good manager. Can't fault him this season and he deserves some credit, a lot of credit in fact. You get a good manager, if the board don't back him, he is off. At least when you have a board that has ambition, you will get success with a manager who has ability. And a lot of Debt backing managers with little ability aye, its a shame everybody doesn't have an Arsene Wenger or an Alex Ferguson., those pesky other clubs who are all looking for the same getting in the way. On reflection though, qualifying for europe more than any club bar 4 over 15 years suggests something........ Wouldn't you agree ?
